This is without a doubt the best game of 2017 and one of the greatest masterpieces I had the privilege of enjoying. I'm a huge Persona fan. I had played persona 3 and 4 golden; Persona 5 is leagues above 3 and 4 in every aspect. After 100 hours, this game left a void in me. I wanted more and more story. The story is interwoven beautifully. You learn to care and love every character, even the side ones! I can't say that about every rpg i have played!!! p.s happy gaming!!!

The special edition of Persona 5 has got to be the best boxed game I've ever had. The quality and art work on the box it self is worth 20$. The school bag has a little funny stitching on the handles but that's the extent of "so so" quality. The artwork book that's packaged is great; contains concept work and great breakdowns of the characters and the aesthetics of the game. The Morgana plushy is cute, be it a bit small. The heart of this fine edition is The Shiny Steel Book Cover. It's red and metallic, very clean and pops. Also included is a live concert performance of Persona 5's musical score. The game itself is a 10. If your a fan of jrpgs you cannot miss this one. Thank you Best Buy.

This game is an excellent addition to the Shin Megami Tensei/Persona series. This game has elements not seen since Persona Revelations (i.e. talking to shadows to gain personas). A smudge darker than Persona 4, so don't go in expecting that kind of liveliness.

when this game was announced, as someone who loved the previous 2 entries in the series, it was reason enough for me the buy the system. 2 years later the game did not disappoint. Persona 5 may actually have the darkest story in the series, and the series is known for having more mature themes and being very dark. this game easily earns it Mature rating. Difficulty wise it also very tough so it is not for the faint of heart or someone not willing to work to earn your great story. general enemies can wipe out your party if you dont go into each encounter with a plan you will have a "bad time". Graphically the game is outstanding and is very stylistic, and the game is set in Tokyo and has done an amazing job of making the world feel busy and alive. the Music is amazing and catchy another stellar soundtrack from series known for great music i think this would be on the the best soundtrack in the series. if you dont like anime you may not like this one but the game it's self is good enough i implore you to at the least try it out. all in all i can not reconmend the game enough, i have loved everything i have played and i think you will too.

This is goes beyond being a video game. Tells an amazing in depth story that will change your aspect of life. along side with another amazing soundtrack by Shoji Meguro. Very lengthy game that will take 100 hours to complete. Turn based battle system, calendar system, along with various elements from visual novels, jrpgs, and socail sims. Theirs a lot of reading, but its a story driven game that everyone should try

Persona 5 is perhaps one of the best games to happen for the PS4! The soundtrack is amazing, the story is gripping, the graphics are beautiful, and the gameplay is super fun! The premium edition contents are pretty sweet too! The bag is nifty for any collector and for carrying spare clothes or books, the art book is really neat, the soundtrack is awesome so you can take the sounds of P5 with you wherever, and the plush makes a neat little mascot for my desk! All in all, this is well worth the money and I encourage fans and newcomers of the series to add this game to their libraries.

Persona 5 is hands-down one of the best JRPGs I have played in a very long time. The story and characters are very engaging, the gameplay is fun, and there is so much polish. The game is very stylish, the soundtrack is great, and compared to previous games in the series, the only negative things I could even think of are nitpicks. What will turn a lot of people off, however, is the amount of time needed to complete the game. Typical JRPGs usually take around 40-50 hours to beat the main story. Persona 5, on the other hand, took me over 100 hours to beat. But I had so much fun that I didn't even realize how much I was playing.

Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 Golden are considered 2 of my favorite games of all time. So of course I highly anticipated Persona 5. Based on previews I knew this game would be just as good as those. But it didn't do that. It became BETTER than those games. In every way. The story, gameplay, soundtrack, etc. is the best it's ever been. Its style is also something never before experienced in an Atlus game either. This game is easily top 5 games of all time for me. I recommend this people who aren't even familiar with the Persona series.

This collectors edition was the best one I have purchased! You get a lot for your money besides the game!! Soundtrack, Artbook, Morgana Plushy, a Tote bag. and steelbook case!! If you haven't tried any Persona games, that is ok since all the games in the series are independent from each other but gameplay mechanics are similar.. This is a Turn base strategy game. Frankly, its the best JRPG game out! The game is about a high school kids who have to solve adult problems in the world and looking to save people's hearts. It's like scooby doo mystery solving (anime story), with demon fusion (pokemone elements), and stylistc turn-base strategy game. I would rate the following: Graphics 10 - Anime Story 10 - Mystery solving Gameplay mechanics: 10 - Turnbase, demon fusion, and strategy Music: 10 - Jazz, Classical and pop Overall - 10- masterpiece!

Could not wait for the release and it was so worth it too. Game has great graphics and the story line is exactly what I hoped for. Hours of play time on this one ! So happy!

One of the best JRPGs I've had the pleasure of playing. Atlus is currently king of the genre for me. The game has great music, game play, story, UI, and aesthetics.

After pouring over 100 hours in Persona 3 on PS2, I knew I had to have the collector's edition of this game. I've already put in 90 hours and still haven't completed my first run. The style, combat, and story line are incredible. Having the extra art book and Morgana plushy helped spruce up my book case and I use the school bag as my work brief case/laptop carrier every day. Love this edition!

The Persona is easily one of the most unique JRPG series around with it's unique balance between school and social life along with demon hunting. These elements combined with the constant flow of time in-game, makes all your decisions feel important and allows the game to feel fast paced and fluid. This entry is no exception and makes sure to make itself feel like a welcome addition to the series, with enough differences to separate itself from previous entries and stand on its own, partially due to borrowing several elements from the mainline Shin Megami Tensei series, like being able to talk to demons. The game itself is easily worth the price of admission, and so is this edition. It comes with a replica schoolbag, Morgana Plush, Soundtrack, Hardcover art book, game, and beautiful SteelBook all contained in a wonderful collector's box. As someone who purchased on the Best Buy Gamer's Club, it was easily worth the $72 pricetag. However with that being said I wouldn't spend much more on it. It's nice for what it is, but if you find it for significantly more than the game then skip. The extras here aren't enough to wholly convince me of a larger pricetag, the real meat of this product is the game and it surely delivers.

I started playing Persona 5 on launch day, and it has blown me away even as an avid JRPG fan. Amazing story, art style, and soundtrack. Fun and balanced gameplay. The collectors edition is pretty reasonably priced as well, especially with the Visa checkout deal that was available a few times during this game's preorder phase. Highly recommended!

Game is recommended 10/10. Worth playing through multiple times and does set the standard of how turn-based rpgs can play. Story is great and the style is crazy good. However it may not be as good as Persona 3 or 4 depending on how you feel about those games. Still one of the best if not the best jrpg released in recent memory.

My personal game of the year, Persona 5 was incredible. I had been pulled out of the genre a bit in recent years, but Persona 5 has made me enjoy the genre once again, single handedly. Anyone who has even a passing interest in JRPGs should check this game out. And Atlas finally got with the times and provided a Japanese audio track for the game. Incredible music, extremely stylish, and just a blast to play - highly recommended.

The box is big and strong to contain everything inside. It's got a nice slipcover, and the box itself has a neat pattern featuring the Persona 5 characters. It's a magnet seal, so it doesn't flop all around. The bag is a bit smaller than I expected, but I had not planned to use this bag normally. It feels a little cheap in my hands, which is a little disappointing. The cute little plush of one of the game's characters, soft to the touch, and would make a good charm to hang off of a bag. The art book is awesome, a hardcover art book that contains many full color pages of character art, concept art, and more. Even something as solid as this was neatly wrapped and protected in plastic. The soundtrack cd is a collection of songs (not all) from the game. The steelbook itself has a plastic slipcover, and feels solid to the touch. I Love the art style of the game, it's classy. Story is very well done. Highly recommend it if you are looking for an emotional game play experience. It has over 100 hours of content.

I've been a huge fan of the Persona series since Persona 3 on the PS2 and Persona 4 Golden on the PS Vita was for sure the best game on that handheld. Persona 5 improves upon the previous entries in every way. Amazing story, combat, interactions and style. My game of the year so far.

The story and art style are both great. If you're a fan of JRPGs, then you'll enjoy this.

I been a fan of the Persona Series since Persona 3 and been waiting for this game to come out. This game oozes STYLE and it's world will consume your time, it has a great story with amazing world and characters that are enjoyable to get to know with their own problems and obstacles to overcome in their life. Plus the gameplay is a perfect combination of previews entries of the series and what is best is that battles are fast and wont feel like a bore fest. Besides, this game doesn't have random encounters, so its you grind if you want. If you are new to JRPGs, this game its a great way to get into. Also I highly recommend to follow the Guides at GAMEFAQs to get the full experience in your first playthrought.
