I'm a huge fan of the Persona games, and this did NOT disappoint - it's an incredible game! Like others, I've waited almost 10 years for this game, and it was definitely worth the wait...and of course, I had to have the Premium Edition. ;-) I even got my husband to play it (who is new to Persona), and he LOVES it!!!!

If you haven't played Persona before, this is a great starting point. No need to play the other games in the series (though you may want to go back and play 4 and 3 if you enjoy this one enough). I picked up the special edition because I'm a huge Atlus fan and Persona fan. I'd say it was worth it at the price I paid through Best Buy. My gamers club gave me a 20% discount. The package comes with a bag similar to the one they use in game, a Morgana plush, an art book, and a soundtrack. Were they worth it? Well, the art book just seems to have basic character designs. At least two pages per character. It's printed on a matte type paper. The bag is actually usable! And it looks good. It has the Academy's logo embroidered on the front in silver thread and a nice plaid interior. It's big enough to hold books or a Surface computer, maybe even a laptop. And the Morgana plushie is adorable. He's made with a few different fabrics including felt and nylon, plus his huge eyes are also embroidered. For fun, throw him into the school bag and pretend you're heading to school.

Great game. Will keep you immersed for hours on end. The art style, the characters, I could go on and on. I feel bad for only playing Persona 4 golden on the vita before this, but i've always heard great things about P3 so I had to jump on this. Just gotta figure out how to make time to play it haha.

Like most people who bought this game I've been waiting for a long time and watching it. The game alone the even if you don't really enjoy this beautiful to watch the style of it is incredible.

You probably already know about the game itself, so I don't have to go into too much detail here. The fifth and biggest Persona game, pitting you as a high schooler who can use his "Persona" powers to enter people's hearts and minds to try to fix the damage they do to society. It's awesome. It's fun. It's super. You probably got that by now. The important thing is the deluxe packaging stuff! You get the game in a steelbook casing. You get the soundtrack CD. You get this beeeeautiful hardcover artbook (with no spoilers in it, like 90% of all other artbooks out there), you get an adorable little 3-4 inch tall Morganna plush doll, and you get this shockingly useful "high school" over the shoulder bag, one that looks exactly like the ones the kids in P5 use. It's big and luxurious, made of a strong nylon fiber. I'm actually using it in real life, no joke. Anyway, the entire thing is only like $71 with the Best Buy gamers club discount. No DLC included, which is a shame, but everything else is flawless. You can't go wrong.

A great game that will probably make you wanna spend more than a hundred hours on and still wanting more! The collector's box is full of surprises and interesting little items. Overall a pretty good purchase for those who really enjoy the Persona Series.

Persona 5 is the most stylish RPG I've ever played. It also has one of the best video game soundtracks in the series. The game is fresh, creative, and of amazing quality, and we now finally have the option to set Japanese audio with English subtitles. The English audio is also very, good.

Persona 5 is a phenomenal RPG. Between it's striking visual style, a story that holds your attention, and a wonderful version of the Shin Megami Tensei's combat system, the game makes sure your time is well-spent. Gameplay moves from a slow, almost relaxing pace while you do things in the main world, to snappy dungeon adventures with quick yet strategic battles. The pacing isn't the smoothest around, and I could see people argue that the game has lulls. But in my 90 hour playthrough I rarely felt like I wasn't having fun. I can complain in some capacity over just about anything in gaming, but it's not as common that I can praise so much in one title. This may be my favorite game to come out of the first half of 2017. I strongly recommend it to anyone who enjoys turn-based RPGs, and wants to sink their teeth into a long journey. Just keep in mind that it will take more than a few weeks. As the game's loading screen aptly says through a stylish icon, 'Take Your Time'.

Then this game is right up your alley. This game handles some rather mature mature subjects right off the bat. As a whole, the cast and tone of the gameseems more mature than that of 4 (though some annoyances persist, such as the constant denigration of the Hero's BFF to make the Hero look better), so if you were looking for the same but better, this game is right up your alley. Gameplay wise, it's a combination of all the Persona's before it, mixing new school persona format with the more smt-esque route of the older ps1 personas, such as guns and element types like Nuclear and Bless/Curse damages instead of Light/Dark instakills (though they're here as well).

Bought this game for my boyfriend who has been waiting for it to be released. He has been playing it in pretty much all of his spare time and really likes it so far. The other items that came with the game seem to be fairly good quality and the box itself seems to be a good design.

I saw the reviews for this game prior to the game being released and decided to buy this collectors edition. I was lucky to obtain it as I pre ordered it a few days before release but apparently this is sold out everywhere. I'd recommend this for anyone that loves jrpgs.

I can't speak this games praises enough! It's truly the best Persona game I've played yet! It's immersive the characters are all unique and the story and gameplay will throw you for a loop multiple times! Truly a masterpiece and the gold standard for ATLUS games!

I have been waiting for this game for years and it was well worth the wait. The mix between dungeon crawling and daily life is still so engaging and keeps you entertained. Premium edition well worth the price considering how much stuff comes included with the game.

Bought this game for my daughter and she cannot stop playing. She has missed weeks of school now and swoons at the television day and night, in love with many of the characters and hoping to please layers of senpai. Great investment for her gaming collection!

I will leave it sweet and simple, if you like Persona, you will love this. If you are a fan of JRPGs you will love this. For those that have reservations because of how slow turn based battles can be, this may be your game. Fast paced and endless activities.

My particular package came in damaged. I had to contact ATLUS personally to request for a replacement for my damaged collectible box. Any store in general can be difficult to negotiate with when it comes to replacing any kind of media content, so I decided to opt to contact the publishing company directly instead. I had to provide appropriate documentation to get my replacement box. The game itself is fantastic as well as all the goodies that came with this special edition. If there are any left that is available for purchase while you are reading this review, you better snag it before it's gone!

If your coming new into the persona series with this one be advised that this series is majorly unforgiving but don't let that hold ya back it's hellish fun with a great plot takes a wile to pick up in the end and dialogue heavy but worth your time.

Just like Persona 4 which was such a hit. Persona 5 is even better. With lots of story and side stories and events, you definitely won't waste your money on this buy. You do have to manage your time wisely as it does follow a calendar cycle daily.

This is by far, hands down, the BEST Persona game ever released. Don't want to say too much for fear of giving anything away, but I have all of the other Persona games and this is worth every penny! If you're a Persona fan, you NEED this game.

This is an amazing RPG that will take you over 100 hours to finish. This game is deep, addictive and fun. Fans of the series will live it. This is a great entry point if youve never played a persona game as well. A must have in my opinion.
