    I believe I expected too much from this fully automated espresso machine. I think the biggest tip to remember here is that this machine is meant to make authentic-to-size espresso drinks. Your cappuccinos will only be 4oz espresso and maybe 2oz of cream. Which is perfectly fine if that’s all you’re looking for. However, this machine is not meant for heavy espresso/coffee drinkers. The Coffee and Ice Coffee settings are practically useless if you’re drinking more than 4-6oz at a time. Now I am willing to look past this since it’s not meant to be a glorified americano maker. But the machine isn’t saved by its cappuccino/latte/espresso maker either. I spent several sessions trying to find a setting that I can enjoy. Nothing quite hit the spot, which has made me consider placing my manual espresso maker back on my counter. The best part is the built in bean grinder but I am staring to think that this machine just isn’t grinding enough bean to make a good cup. Coffee and espresso all comes down to personal preference, and I am sure for many people this machine is perfect. However, I think I want to stick to my basic espresso machine and frother.

    This review is for reliability and the customer service associated with this product (model EP3246) and Philips-Saeco. My 1st machine (2019) lasted 22 months before the issues began. The aqua clean cycle stopped performing; steam came out the top and both sides; frothing became intermittent; and randomly dumped fresh coffee grounds when starting a cycle. After Philips-Saeco Customer Service was contacted they shipped it to an Authorized Repair Center in Shelby Township, MI. The machine came back with same issues. Philips-Saeco shipped the machine back. Two weeks later the machine had the same issues, Philips-Saeco shipped it to the same repair center. Over 2 months had elapsed, I called in the 3rd month for an update. No one knows where the machine is! After 2 additional months and approximately 12 phone calls, I got the Better Business Bureau (BBB) involved. The Presidential Liaison Consumer Care, Philips North America representative contacted me, I received a new machine. After 21 months, the 2nd machine (model EP3246) began smoking (burnt wiring or motherboard melting). I contacted Philips-Saeco Customer Service and notified them my machine was smoking and covered under their 2 year warranty. I immediately began getting the run around for 3 weeks. I saw a pattern happening. I never got beyond the first tier of the call service center even though I requested to speak with a supervisor. I contacted BBB again and the Presidential Liaison Consumer Care, Philips North America representative stated replacement parts and service for a product only last under the original warranty period. What does that say about their product which was never serviced and delivered to me. Do you want to spend hundreds of dollars on this product and service?

    Love it/ unfortunately not working

    Actually I really enjoyed this until I'm trying to get my item fixed under warranty. I'm unable to contact somebody. I have gone to the manufacture site etc, but this has been unsuccessful. The cost of this machine, this should have an easier solution

    I really liked the machine until it stopped working. Literally one week after the warranty expired the milk frother crapped out. For that amount of money I expect more. But for 2 years I liked it a lot.

    Very good alternative to an automatic coffee maker. I have been enjoying how easy it is to make a delicious coffee in the morning. I recommend this machine; some reviews say that it is a little noisy, but to be honest, that doesn't bother me.

    I bought this machine and after 9 months the water dispenser had problems, we shipped it to the repair center. It came back witht the same problem and other parts broken. After some arguments with Philips, they gave me another machine and guess what! After 6 months the water dispenser of this machine also had the same problem. I sent to the repair center and they replaced the the WATER SENSOR BOARD and the O-RING. I am afraid to see how this machine will arrive to me, because I don't have good experience with Philips Repair center. I do not recommend you to buy this machine, look for a better quality and more robust machine

    Purchased this used about 3-4 months ago. It worked fine, except that it seemed to put more water into the drip tray than is used for the coffee. The grinder has started to seize when trying to grind whole beans. Customer service has been virtually nonexistent. The website drive me into calling so I can talk to some that speaks poor english and understands the same level. They have been useless. I am getting more information and help from Facebook groups and Youtube than from Philips. Not impressed with their support. Hopefully, I am able to at least purchase a replacement grind assembly and O Ring set to make the repairs myself.

    I bought this machine a little over a year ago, we make an average of 12 cups of coffee a day, we were very happy with it until suddenly the frosted stopped working, steam comes out of the upper part of the grinder and not through the milk frosted. I want to clarify that I do a cleaning service every week and I replace the filter every time the machine asks me to, it's a shame that a coffee machine that costs $799.00 dollars lasts a year and comes totally disposable after that...I would not recommended just because of that.
