Being able to slide the small Roku remote into it, to make it a larger remote, has prevented my children from losing it repeatedly. That alone made this an awesome purchase. Programming was very easy, it is very functional, and aesthetically appealing. Very happy with this purchase, would definitely. recommend

Unfortunately, the new Roku's remote control uses double A batteries so i am unable to insert the Roku's R/C into the back of this R/C, it will not fit. Should have had a warning.

I don't need another remote that's why I bought this one, which isn't big enough to fit my remote.

Put small remote in big remote... Ok? Requires it's own power source. Once the ROKU remote is in, the Phillips remote holds down buttons, like VOLUME UP, and it'll just keep going n going. Can't turn it down unless you undo the screws and take the Roku back out of the Phillips. Got it to help make grams TV viewing easier. It definitely did NOT do that or meet even basic expectations. The Phillips part does not even control the "reg" bit of the tv, the non Roku functions that is. So, a total waste of money. Get something that's 1 device. Not some stupid contraption.
