I originally had the Phillips 3200 and my family was extremely happy. We decided to upgrade to the 4300 and it’s even better! Althought its pricey, its will save you money not having to go to Starbucks if you’re an avid coffee drinker. Its extremely easy to use with 15 bars of pressure and you will not be disappointed!

I just returned this coffee machine. After a couple of cups, it stopped dispensing coffee properly, no coffee comes out only water does. I set it at max hot but it was not hot enough. I would have given it more starts for the nice look and ease of cleaning, but its not a sturdy or reliable machine. It did not meet my expectations.

I got this product a few days and it arrived in what seems like “new” product packaging so everything seemed normal but when I opened the coffee compartment on the top there was leftover coffee grind and water residue on the bottom. Clearly this is a used product or the parts were used and this unacceptable especially since I an expecting to get an unused product but it’s unsafe and disgusting.

Setup was quick and painless. Ran four test shots of straight espresso to "prime" system. Customization is very simple. Once you dial in the amount of grounds, water, milk (if applicable) it dispenses good tasting/consistent shots from that point. Profiles automatically saves any changes to your preference. While not a fan of the whole "Puckology" arguments... the pucks are solid and not wet or soupy. They hold shape when dumped and crack or break cleanly when picked up and "tested". Cleaning was quick. True it was only one week, but there were no deposits of grounds inside the machine, no accumulation of water inside the machine, and the brew group was almost completely clean inside the brew chamber. LatteGo system works well. Alternative (coconut) milk also froths well, and the clean function for the frother is quick and effective. Only real item to pick at...can't get just steamed milk. Always very frothy. That being said the froth is thick and holds well in the drink. It doesn't dissolve right away. This is the one week review. Any changes in satisfaction over time will be addressed in follow on post if necessary.

The Philips 4300 Series Fully Automatic Espresso Machine with LatteGo Milk Frother is a game-changer for coffee lovers. It's like having a personal barista right in your kitchen. This machine is super easy to use and delivers amazing coffee every time. One of the best things about it is the variety. With 8 different coffee options, you can make anything from a strong espresso to a creamy latte. The LatteGo milk frother is a standout feature – it makes frothing milk a breeze, so your lattes and cappuccinos come out perfectly every time. The machine is fully automatic, which means you just press a button and it does all the work for you. It's also pretty compact, so it doesn't take up too much counter space. Cleaning is a snap too, especially with the detachable milk frother that’s dishwasher safe. Overall, the Philips 4300 Series is a fantastic investment if you love coffee and want the convenience of making high-quality drinks at home. It’s a bit of a splurge, but totally worth it for the coffee shop quality drinks you get at the push of a button.

We were spending way too much at Starbucks. Over priced drinks, tipping, and frequent/daily visits. I knew we would need something easy to use and fully automatic, if we were going to give up Starbucks. The 4300 is easy to set up, makes great drinks and is easy to clean. The foam is barista quality (I have only used oatmilk) and the coffee is a full bodied good brew. There have been comments about noise. I do not find it excessive or too loud. The time it takes to make a drink is minimal and you can make multiple drinks back to back. This machine will pay for itself in the first three months. My only regret is that I did not purchase sooner!!

    I LOVE THIS ESPRESSO MACHINE!

Oh my goodness. We just unpacked and set this up and started using it. Folks, the bean you choose is everything! We used Gavina Old Havana beans (doesn't come with machine, just google that you'll be glad you did). If you are using this with an inferior bean, you'll get an inferior product. Let's talk about why this machine is superior. It passed my high expectations for espresso. I am Cuban, and espresso coffee is something I grew up with. This tastes just like my Tia (Aunt) Fe's Cuban coffee. Remember, a fine espresso needs great beans. I am here to tell you that this machine delivers in spades on quality and taste! The only thing I would ask them to do is to make the lid for the milk container one that is connectable. It's not. No big deal, I just put the lid on. This observation doesn't affect my decision about how much I love this espresso machine. Let's talk lattes shall we? Famous maker coffeeshop is losing my money because I can now make all my favorites at home: 1 shot espresso, 9 oz milk, 1-2 pumps of sugar free flavoring. The machine is wonderful. Trust me, your home will be your coffee shop and all your friends will find excuses to come visit you if you own one of these! It is very easy to make a coffee now. No worry about getting the coffee filter contraption on right, or worrying that your espresso cup will overflow. This is precise and everyting is at your fingertip with a push of a button. If I had known how good this is, I would have bought it months ago, but I bought it this month and I'm very glad I did. A tip. Don't use a high volume of espresso for your shots or drinks. You're going to get a more delicious espresso by making your shots smaller. All in all, this Cuban woman gives the Philips 4300 Series Automatic Espresso machine a five star rating, so all you Cubans out there, BUY THIS. You'll love it! We do! As we Cubans, espresso experts, say, " Que maravilla!"

I recently purchased the Philips Lattego 4300, and I am thoroughly impressed by its performance and versatility. Here are some key points that stood out to me: Ease of Use One of the first things I noticed about the Philips Lattego 4300 is how user-friendly it is. The intuitive control panel and clear instructions make it a breeze to operate, even for someone like me who isn’t particularly tech-savvy. The buttons are well-labeled, and the digital display provides helpful prompts throughout the brewing process. Convenience This coffee machine is designed with convenience in mind. It can make a variety of coffee recipes, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and even cold brew. The built-in LatteGo milk frother is a fantastic addition, allowing me to create café-quality drinks at home without the hassle of multiple appliances. The machine also has a programmable timer, so I can set it the night before and wake up to freshly brewed coffee. Price Value When it comes to value for money, the Philips Lattego 4300 is a standout. Given its multifunctional capabilities, it offers exceptional value compared to other machines in its price range. The initial investment is justified by the machine’s durability and the quality of coffee it produces. Plus, the savings from not having to visit coffee shops frequently add up quickly. Overall In summary, the Philips Lattego 4300 is an excellent choice for anyone looking for an easy-to-use, convenient, and cost-effective way to enjoy a variety of coffee drinks at home. It has exceeded my expectations and has become an indispensable part of my daily routine. Highly recommended!

I picked up the Philips 4300 from Best Buy and it’s easily one of the best purchases I’ve made for my kitchen. The machine is super easy to use—even for someone new to espresso. The touch display is intuitive, and it offers a great variety of drinks like espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato, and more with just one touch. The built-in grinder is quiet and consistent, and the milk frother creates smooth, creamy foam every time. It’s also easy to clean, which is a huge plus for a fully automatic machine. Best Buy’s pickup was quick and hassle-free, and the price was competitive compared to other retailers. If you’re looking to skip the coffee shop and make café-level drinks at home, the Philips 4300 delivers big time.

Best Bang for the Buck & paid for itself in months

Hands down the best automatic espresso machine I've used. It takes a few brews to dial in your strength and size preferences, but once they are set you are good to go. The LatteGo milk frother does a pretty good job of making foam. It will never be as good as doing it manually, but it makes sufficient foam and the design is ingenious. Very easy to clean. It also makes really luxurious hot cocoa. We put some dark chocolate or Ghirardelli flavor-filled chocolates in the bottom of a cup, add foam, stir, and then add more foam. The kids love it and it's super easy and much better than powdered. The 4300 paid for itself in 1.5 months. I did the math with how much money we were spending buying americanos and cappuccinos at cafes. My only complaint is the water filter is a pain to replace. It doesn't want to let water in when you soak it and is an awkward size and shape. The water reservoir is a little flimsy where the handle is, and the empty grounds sensor is set to how many brews you have done since the last time it told you. The empty grounds sensor should reset itself every time the sensor is triggered. We empty it every morning, but every other morning, in the middle of brewing our morning coffees, I'm forced to pull the tray out and put it back in.

The Philips 4300 coffee machine is a solid choice for those who want quality and convenience. It makes espresso, cappuccino, and latte with a good milk frothing system. The built-in grinder ensures fresh coffee every time, and the touch panel is easy to use. The coffee quality is excellent, and it’s compact, so it fits well in any kitchen. The only downside is the drink preparation time, but that’s typical for automatic machines. Overall, it’s reliable and a great option for home or small office use.

Replaced my 10 year old Jura Caprrisco so was skeptical if this would deliver as promised - Phillips states up front it will take a while for the machine to "adjust" before brewing first rate coffee and they weren't kidding - Out of the box the coffee was awful and the pucks watery - Over time things improved - At 43 cups the coffee was excellent (My advice is buy a cheap coffee and do 25 double shots before using any high dollar beans) - The ability to EASILY set up and keep individual profiles with each having all the cups customized to the user is a huge step up -The milk drinks are tasty, easy and make entertaining fun (frothy hot chocolate for the kids) - Clean up and maintenance is a breeze - We enjoy this machine every day and highly recommend

Extremely easy to use & the ability to store your drinks in your profile is something I thought was a gimmick, but it's something we use all the time. The milk dispenser is easy to clean or store in the refrigerator. My partner uses oat milk & it creates a very creamy foam. When the water runs out, it tells you to refill the tank and then asks if you want to resume. This is awesome, as with other machines we've used, you have to start over. Our first coffees were disappointing and tasteless & the puck grounds collapsed into nothing. The beans we realized the beans we were using were old, and swapping to new beans made all the difference. Our coffee is now amazing. This is the most popular kitchen appliance now!
