    Not hard to connect but its janky. a lot of the advanced functions don’t respond. And i kept having to reprogram every couple days because certain functions weren’t working.

    Backlight on the remote is good for night time viewing. Most of the time when i watch television the light is off. So if i can see the remote functions its easier for me than getting up to turn the lights on just to see the remote functions.

    Easy setup. I have a samsung TV and it worked right out of the box. Also worked with my Roku ultra right out of the box. Programing was easy for my other devices too.

    Pros: easy to set up Cons: button labels are very small, buttons stay lit for a very short time, basically serves as On/Off switch for devices with only minimal functionality of controls - particularly difficult when using Roku since you have to hit Home button and start search all over if you just want to read more than title of movies.

    Needed a remote for my parents' DVD player. Worked well. I like it was a color that was different from the other ones at the house so it was easy to find. Hint: for a reasonably newer device, use the *last* code for that vendor.

    This works great for my LG TV, Spectrum Cable, Samsung Soundbar, and LG 4K disc player. I don't think it offers all the options associated with my soundbar system, but it works all the basic functions easily.
