    This works really good for replacing the tv remote on smart tv and plus also can have dvd programmed to remote as well. One remote instead of two. The back light could be better.

    I bought this item to replace a Logitec universal remote that I used for 8 years. It works with every component in my cabinet right out of the box and does what its supposed to. I only gave this product 4 stars because for a remote that is almost a decade newer than the one it replaced and after costing about the same price its missing a notable convience feature namely the "Do "x" activity" programming where pushing the watch tv button would turn on all appropriate devices and control settings like volume and channels without individually selecting that device.

    I got this remote since it was preprogrammed. I needed a new remote since my first one just stopped working. I literally just put the batteries in and pressed power!!! My tv came on! I hadn’t had to buy a remote in close to 10 years. This was new to me. I love it!

    This work fairly well with our Vizo P series TV. It is a bit of an older model but I was able to get the programming set-up fairly easily and it serves it purpose.

    The light definitely helps. You can push any button for the light, it sometimes pauses the program for a second. Works great. I’ve had it a few months and no issues.

    I believe that this is a nice remote. However, I have not yet been able to read up on it to see if it will work with my Roku TV. If it does, that will be nice; and if not, I will find someone to give it to.
