    It worked for about 2 months then it would power up and shut down after 5 seconds. Phillips customer service was great and refunded my money because they said that they dont have parts to repair it. Bought the JBL Partybox 110 and enjoying it as i write this review. Spend the additional money.

    Overheating Issue ??

    Used my party speaker for the first time yesterday (other than a few 10 minute tests) at an outdoor event. I had a laptop hooked up to it using a Line In cable. The sound is great. I had it setup in the shade on an 84 degree day with a nice breeze. I had charged the unit overnight and was playing it without the power cable. After about 3 - 1/2 hours I noticed there was no music playing. The laptop was still playing but there was no power to the speaker and the power button was non responsive. Even though I had the volume only up halfway on the unit and the lights turned off I figured it ran out of power, even though it is supposed to play for 14 hours on a charge.I was going to move it near a power plug, but the event was winding down so I packed it up. Problem is, when I brought it home to plug it in and test it 8 hours later the unit powered on without plugging it in. I’m thinking it may have overheated. Im gonna have to test run it inside after giving it another full charge to see if it can last longer than 3-1/2 hours
