Not hard to set up as long as you have a smart phone. Want to set the mood after laying down for a movie, or turn off the lights after you've laid in bed? This is the set up for you. The only negative for me is that you have to be in range of the Philips Hue system to be connected, but not a deal breaker.

Great product. I have used the Hue App for home control and I have also used the Google Home App and assistant for control and they respond great! I got a set of 4 and then went and bought a few more individual bulbs and the strip. So far i'va had them for a few years and no issues. EAsy to use and set up. Only down side is the hub that you have to hardwire to the router.

The Hue hub works perfectly with Apple Homekit, which is what we wanted. The bulbs are nice, with a dimming feature. The wifi connectivity is good -we made sure the unit has an unobstructed line of sight to the main wifi hub. Make sure you keep up with the firmware updates to keep the security up to date.

First step to smart home living. This thing is so cool. Love the timer feature and very easy to set up.

These bulbs were obviously easy to install. They provide a great chance to control lights from across the country! We also like being able to light the house when we're on our way home at night.

Bought these so that when we are gone and it gets dark the lights will come on for our dogs at sunset. Works great. Can turn off and on from our phone as well.

The Phillips Hue light is an amazing product. Easy to use only took about 4 mins to install. You have to update the app regularly tho. But other than that I love it

So I did everything possible to avoid buying this product. Turns out I was a fool. This quickly fixed 3 different lighting problems in my house when it came to automation. This hub was really easy to install and the signal was strong throughout the house. I was easily able to group lights together and in subgroups for the backyard spotlights as well as each room. I plan on buying a few new lights for each room little by little and not the $200 at once investment.
