This is a great way to start a smart lighting solution for your home. It works with Homekit, Alexa and Google Home. Setup is a snap. In addition, you can add plenty of lighting solutions in the future. I also own the color bulbs and a light strip. Adding more lights is as easy as pressing the button on the hub. This may look like an expensive investment, but trust me, it’s worth it.

Great and convenient accessory to use with the Amazon Echo Dot. Love that I can turn on the lights in a room with a voice command when my hands are full.

I bought the kit along with 8 extra bulbs. Easy to install. I can now set timers where my outdoor lights can turn on at night and stay off during the day automatically. Also, you can choose the brightness (create a moonlight setting) and have the my room lights slowly turn on in the morning to wake me up. You have to get this for your home! Very versatile and fun. Well priced as well

Absolutely awesome in creating light effects in your home. With voice command, its easy to turn on, off p or down your lights in any room. I love it.

I just needed the hub to go with my hue light strip, but buying the kit with the two bulbs was a much better deal. Works perfectly and easy to set up.

So the packaging was nice, instructs are simple, plug in the box to your router, screw in your bulbs and download the Hue app. The lights are pretty bright, standard warm color. Only thing I have noticed is if the electric goes out and back on, the lights come on and stay on. So annoying when you are sleeping. Other then that good bulbs and lots of aftermarket apps for it too.

Setting up the Hue is one of the easiest smart home things to do. Basically just connect the Hue to your router/hub, download the app, install the bulbs, and a couple clicks later, you are controlling your lights. This was a gift to my brother in college who had no issues setting it up. He uses it to wake up to slowly brightening light since he has to get up before the sun rises.

Got these after purchasing the Echo Dot and wanting to have some "Smart Home Features" in my house. This does the trick and very easy to setup.

Thought I try purchasing smart lighting technology instead of using timers to turn on my lights, what a great move. These lights are easy to set up and very easy to use. I purchase the starter kit with the hub and I love the ability to dim the lights and to set them to turn on gradually. Add google home for voice control, It doesn’t get any better than this!

I was looking for a way to turn on my lights at home because the light switch only turns on the light in the corner behind a closet wall. It doesn't shine enough light around the corner at night. I got this so I can turn on the lights by the door even before I get out of my car. It works on WiFi and mobile signal but using mobile, it takes a few seconds longer to work because it's not a direct signal like WiFi is but that's water under the bridge. It also makes for a great prank on your roommates or family members when you're not home, especially if they don't know you have it.

I was delighted to have these new lights in my home. Easy to install. East to use. Great apps out there to create wonderful scenarios and moods in your home.

I recently purchased the Philips Hue LED starter kit and add on bulbs for my house. Installation is as easy as changing your light bulb and the mobile app is easy to use and has lots of options for when and how you turn on your lights. Additional light bulbs are sold separately at a very affordable price. I would highly recommend this product to family and friends.

I purchased this starter pack (required, as you need the hub if you want to get these to work with Alexa) and discovered my love and need for internet connected lights! These things are great for all kinds of uses, and I have even purchased additional bulbs and a light strip. I have placed one in my hallway to use as a nightlight. The brightness can adjust from 1% - 100% from the app or via Alexa, and it's a great night light replacement. I prefer this light over a traditional nightlight due to the light that it emits over an entire area versus a small area against a wall. The lights are soft white, so not overpowering, but they're pretty bright. I have put the light strip behind my TV to add some color at night and its looks amazing, with more color choices then I'll ever be able to use. They look great and are a great addition to my smart home. Overall the setup of the hub is easy as you just have to plug it into your router and link it within the Philips Hue app. And it's even easier to set it up with Alexa! It's easy to then control your lights from your phone, through Alexa, Siri, and even Xfinity Home application if you have Home Security.

I bought this to be able to control lights while I'm away at work. We have a dog that gets occasionally restless, and the lights on seems to help. The system can be set up easily, and the lights work exactly how they should. The app you have to download for your phone sucks. Once I finally got the newest version download, it has helped. However, I can't control anything unless I am near the house (in the yard or inside), and I always need to set a schedule before I leave. Again, it's more of an app issue than a product issue.

The Hue White is your typical color to replace a CFL bulb. I've got them paired with a dimmer remote so I can control the brightness without my phone.

These were bought as part of a gift for my father in law with his Alexa. They use these light bulbs to dim and shut off by voice command

I have been interested in buying smart lighting for a while but I was concerned about being an early adopter. Too many times I buy something early only to have a competitor come out with a better version after I have invested money in the network i.e. Amazon Echo vs Google Home. I love that this is a reasonably priced option with only two bulbs. If they suck no big deal but if they are great I have the base and can keep adding to it. They turned out to be great! They have presets that are better than I thought. I use the nightlight feature in my kitchen so my dog can see his food and water. It has a preset that syncs with sunset and will gradually turn on the lights so my dog is not sitting in the dark until I get home or I have to leave a light on all day. I have integrated them with my Amazon Echo so when I am sitting watching tv with dog in my lap I can reduce the light to 40% with a voice command. I plan on getting the colored lights next and possibly the strips. I have do more research on them. I wish they made an outdoor version that I can have by my front door. I read that the LCD cannot be in the cold so these are not recommended outside. I am very happy with this purchase.

After having not so good experience with some smart bulbs I decided to buy Philips Smart Bulbs. The set up was easy and I was able to add this to my Google smart eco system. I have been using these for about 1.5 years. These work great with Google Assistant without any issues thus far.
