This is a must if you have a smart phone. We use the lights all the time in our living room and bedroom. We use ours with Amazon Echo.

I enjoy how the bulbs interact with the amazon echo very well. I am glad i purchased. I will be purchasing more in the near future.

The setup for these was a snap. The lights work well. As far as the app, there are a couple of bugs and features that leave a bit to be desired. When wanting to add functionality such as alarms or programs, you have to hit the bridge button each time. This is more of an annoyance than anything else. When setting the wake up routine (light coming on and getting brighter, sometimes the app misunderstands whether the light is in or off. This causes the light to come o. When you do not want it.

I purchased the White Philips Hue Starter Kit to use with the Amazon Echo Dot. It is quite convenient and fun to be able to turn on lights and dim them using voice control. In addition, with the smartphone Philips Hue app, you can remotely control your lights even if you weren't home. All in all, a great introduction to home lighting automation.

Definitely a recommendable product. Control your lights remotely is great, gives you peace of mind even when you are not at home.

I bought this package to start upgrading my home with smart devices and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to setup and how well it works with Alexa. You just have to remember to only turn the lights off with the app and not by the switch which is a hard practice to break.

This was purchased as a gift and it was the favorite! They work great and are easy to install. Make sure you have good wifi connection though.

Went out on a limb and thought I would try this for my home. Very easy to install and works perfectly in sync with my Echo Dot.

Phillips Hue hub and lights are the standard for smart lights. Easy set up, extremely compatible with Amazon Alexa. White lights are a good tone and dim to a wide range. I have them in multiple lamps and connected in groups to turn on lights in various rooms. Will be adding color bulbs into the mix soon to set scenes in our Parlour.

This system works great with my Amazon Echo device, I also have it set up to either turn off or on when I leave the house.

Installation was fairly simple, though the 30 word setup instructions were inadequate. Some reassurance during the setup that I was doing it right would have been comforting. We wanted lights in our house we could turn on and off while we traveling, hopefully to confuse any burglars as to whether we were home or not. I installed them in table lamps we seldom use (we didn't want to have to use our phone to switch the lamps we use frequently). The app turns the lamps on and off, and dims them, either by scheduling them or on-demand via the phone app. There is a lot of additional functionality in the app, but that is probably targeting the lamps that also vary in color. The lamps cannot be controlled through the other home automation networks we have: Nest and XFinity.

If you're looking for home automation these are it. They are bright and very responsive. Have about 20 of my own and still buying more!

These are great for remote use of lights. We use it when Home but you can also do it from your phone when you are away!

This was the first "smart home" product I purchased for Alexa and it was so easy. It works perfectly for my interior lights. The only feedback I have are 2 things: 1) I wish the hub didn't have to be physically connected to the router, and 2) I wish Phillips made some exterior lighting or was compatible with more brands. I ended up having to by Sylvania (Osram) lightify bulbs and hub for my exterior lighting. It would have been nice to use all Phillips with one hub.

I like to be able to turn it on and off even when im not at home. And saves me from walking up and down the stairs too

I love that I can choose the how bright you want it. Wish it was the color one, but it is amazing and works as expected

Affordable price, luxury feel. Philips Hue line is the best without a doubt. The app is also very useful, especially geofencing.

Setup is really easy. Work right out of the box. Can be easily controlled by goolge assistant and other apps IFTFF

I purchased this simple kit to allow me to turn on the living room light by voice command when coming in to my dark apartment with my hands full. There are a number of colorful and versatile/creative lighting/bulb choices but I was not sure how these would work, so, I chose one of the simpler kits to start out with. I use one light in the living room and one in the bedroom and now I no longer have to stumble in the dark after turning off the bedroom light (by the wall switch) and then find my way to the bed, tripping on things (or bumping into things) that I forgot were in the way. I keep my bedroom pitch black so it is disorienting when the lights go out. I also went back to BB and purchased a smart plug for a kitchen light and I am now planning to get more lights for my office and additional ones for the living room. With the variable color bulbs I can change the color of my walls and office to suit my mood without painting! Thoroughly pleased with this purchase!
