These lights are great, the fact that that I can change the lights to any tint I want. The new app needs more practice then the old one I think.

I use the HUE lights in my living room. I currently have five of the A19 bulbs and two of the spotlights. They work great with a variety of apps.

This bulb is very easy to use. It was a simple process to pair it with the Hue bridge and now i can control it from my phone or my computer.

These bulbs give a great "white" spectrum that accurately reproduce daylight & incandescent/tungsten light. So you can match them to existing incandescent bulbs or to the natural lighting you get throughout the day. The trade off is that in order to get that detailed spectrum of white, these bulbs were shorted blue diodes (They have 5 yellow, 4 red, & 2 blue total diodes) which means that they leave a bit to be desired if you're looking for full party colors. Particularly when you dial in blue or green which come off more purple & yellow respectively. The other colors are pretty good but if you're looking for a saturated & fully versatile smart party bulb, you're better off going with something else. That being said, I've found that this does not apply to all Hue products. For example, the Hue Go features both the full spectrum of White as well as a true RGB color spectrum so its blues & greens appear as they should. Whereas the Hue Bloom has the full RGB spectrum but not feature the full White spectrum. Overall a solid smart bulb but for the price, I wish it had the full RGB spectrum in addition to the daylight/incandescent spectrum.

Great, different lighting for different times of day and mood. Enjoying the start of automation with my Hue Bridge and Amazon Echo.

I am such a huge fan of the Hue lighting system by Philips. I have them in every room of my house and they can be used to make any lighting design you could possibly imagine. Literally every color on the spectrum is available and each individual bulb can be controlled from your smartphone. You can set up timers and alarms, sync your lights with music, have your lights turn on and off when you get home or leave, you can even put on fireworks shows. Hue is amazing and, while expensive, totally worth every dime.

Great for a one-off addition if you've already got a starter kit.

Simply the best. Paired with hue bridge and Google home and my home lighting needs have been realized. Cons: a bit pricey

I love the varous controls available for setting different moods for different rooms and can be controlled from a smartphone.

I like to control colors for ambiance lighting. Daylight during the day where needed an dim colors at night for TV or relaxation. The system is muy pricey. I read that an improved version is coming with a better cyan.

Nice to look at not necessary . Sturdy, easy to install, hopefully will pay itself off in the long run cuz theyre expensive.

These bulbs can really set the mood for a dinner date or a party for your kids all the way to a football gathering I love it

Works with any lamp, great add on to existing system. Lots of options, fun to play with different colors that are available.

I've installed 14 different Hue lights throughout the house and have them all set up with IFTT and Nest products. Very slick!
