Don't hesitate to buy into the family of Hue lighting. The ease of these lights as far as setting them up and how they operate is phenomenal. There are quite a few apps that work with Hue that make it even more fun, even though the Philips Hue App is adequate. Phillips Hue Customer Service is very good, and will answer any questions, plus their warranty is stellar. I did my research comparing these lights to others systems, and these had way more to offer.

Have Hue set up all around my home, if you can swallow the price of these bulbs, they are a great option to have around the home to customize colors, scenes, and set timers and proximity settings for leaving and arriving from home. Some of the apps are also great to have continuously changing colors when having guests over and are always a topic of conversation. Love being able to have these connected to a smart home and control from a smart phone.
