Bought these for my new year's party. Brought out some real life. I currently own several of these. I tie them into to my connected home using apps such as IFTTT. They set the mood for parties and other gatherings. The turn red during emergencies via my Nest Protect. They even flash when a player on my fantasy football league is injured. The color version is a bit expensive so I use those sparingly and buy just one or two at a time.

I really enjoy these lights. I have 3 light strips above my kitchen cabinets and one of these lights hooked up to a lamp in my dining room. I can turn the lights on remotely which is great for when I am not home and forgot to leave a light on for the pups. All the different colors are neat to play with. I used red and green in the kitchen for Christmas. Now I just need to learn how to get them flashing to music.

I had been wanting Hue lighting for a while and I finally got it and have no regrets. Instead of getting the starter kit I got one bulb and the hub since I only needed to automate my room. This light bulb is a fun way to control your lights as you can easily adjust to the desired lighting with your phone. I also got the new dimmer which creates a better connected, more seamless Hue environment.

Ok, I've wanted these for a while, and I finally caved in and decked out my whole apartment. The simple fact that I can ask Siri from any of my devices AND EVEN MY WATCH is straight up Jetsons $h?@! I even bought the light strip for under my bed and behind my wall mounted tv. Easy to install. Lost Internet the other day for a few hours, and they still work. My only gripes: The native Hue app is horrible. I use Huemote almost exclusively. The features such as geofencing hardly ever work, and setting the lights from abroad hasn't worked for me yet. The price. $60 per bulb seems steep to me. Especially when needing to buy more than two. There should be a value three pack available without the bridge for sure. I'm looking for other creative places to put another couple strip lights :)

I am using this bulb in my kitchen with the starter kit containing 3 of these bulbs. I am very happy with the color range, dimming ability, and most of all, the ease of use via verbal commands to my Google Home Assistant.

Easy to use, brighter than I thought, want the whole collection!

Originally purchased the starter kit for the Philips Hue with the bridge. I decided to expand the lights into another area of the house to see how it would work together. It was VERY easy to add the additional bulb, there is no lag at between the two area they are in, and it was also extremely easy to add the new bulb to additional scenes.

These bulbs are great. I have actually become somewhat addicted to getting them throughout my house at this point! I have over 20 of them now and they work extremely well. The various apps you are able to find to maximize their utility are also very good. I'd highly recommend trying some of them out. I've had no problems with them to this point. The bulbs are easy to set up and the color ranges are excellent. I have the ones that aren't full color as well and I'd say that if you can afford the full color versions to definitely go for it. It's worth it. If you're in the market for a lighting system like this one I'd highly recommend these bulbs. They are on the high end of the price spectrum but I've been very pleased overall.

I do not like complicated hook-ups, this was Easy. The bulbs illuminate wonderfully ! what a concept. We turn the out side light on as we are pulling up to the house. The lights inside, we can set different colors for different moods. My wife & I love them..also, our 5 yr old son thinks it's the coolest .

This bulb is very well made . Extremely easy to install and compacts. The directions are self-explanatory in the application that you download on your iPhone. I am a huge fan of the HUE lighting system and I was on the mend it to anyone. My nine-year-old daughter uses it efficiently and creatively, too.

I battle chronic insomnia and have taken many measures to create an optimal environment for sleeping in my bedroom. I have found that by experimenting with the literally millions of shades and hues this bulb offers, it's much easier to calm the chaos in my mind that often keeps me awake. It is easily controlled by smartphone apps and peripheral devices. I use mine with my Amazon Echo, which enables me to control the lighting with voice commands--because the last thing I want to do when I'm trying to sleep is get back up to turn off a light. I can also set it on a timer to go on or off automatically. Very much worth the investment to gain control of my environment.

I purchased several of these bulbs and the colors they display are great and amazing. They work with various smart phone and other wireless controls (ex. Logitech harmony remote). The only small issue is that the app from phillips doesn't give you the easiest way to group the individual blubs into groups (ex. living room, etc). However there are 3rd party apps that can do this. You just have to find one that you like. Overall these bulbs are great.

love the options of color in every room and the ease of doing it from my phone from any level in the house

So cool to be able to change colors and the possibilities are endless! The app is really easy to use and the set up is so simple and easy. Had them up and running in less then 5 min! Had them sinked to our Amazon echo in another 10 min so now everything is voice activated through the Echo

I've been collecting hue bulbs and strips for a while now. I think I have 43 they work great especially the geofencing feature. I come home my lights come on automatically. Timers and alarms work great as well. And all the colors what can I say Very Pleased

I do lighting design for dance performances, theater and because of that I was looking for a reliable lighting setup to bring the entertainment to my living room. After reading some reviews I decided to give Phillips Hue a shot. I'm happy I did, the setup took me less then 10 minutes and the lights were up and running flawless with the iPhone app. You have to experience what is to watch a movie with the right lighting, it feels like a movie theater!!

Four in the living room. Can be almost any color you can picture. Green and blue come out very soft, pink and red are very intense. If green or blue are your goal, get the Hue Go instead. They do 3100-5000 kelvin well so they work well in a living space.

Great lights, works as expected. Changes colors and dims. A little overpriced IMO.

These are seriously the best lights ever! They work with version 1 and 2 of the bridge. Being able to change the lights from color to color, or have them fade in and out, is absolutely stunning. Get a huge collection and you can do wonders with thrse
