the hue a19 bulb does what its suppose to do but if you are looking for something to light up a living room is just ok. not as bright as i thought it would be but thats not why i purchased it. i bought it to have a light on when im not home and control it from my phone, which does the trick. paying full price is a little expensive, if you can wait, wait until they go on sale

Was skeptical about these at first, but I have to say I really find them useful and really fun. I have them connected to Amazon Alexa and am using voice commands to control lights all over the house - works really seamlessly.

Bought these to work in conjunction with the lights provided in the ambiance starter kit. Sync and pair easily with hue lights. I enjoy the color occasionally, but really like how you can adjust the warmth of the white light.

Bulb is great has a wide array of colors Just be aware this bulb is for fixtures that have a directional light. So basically a fixture that the light would face straight down or in a direction to have sort of a spot light.

Love the Philips Hue lights and the various apps you can use to control them. Only thing "missing" is better handling of power outages. As a safety precaution, the light switch overrides the hub/app control, which is good. However, this means that all lights will go on when the power comes back after power outages. This just means that you should turn off the lights with the hard switches when leaving home for some days, so it is NOT a dealbreaker, but it would have been ideal if the hub was able to detect a power outage and return the lights to their pre-outage status when power comes back.

I bought this light to add to the kit I previously bought. It was easy to sync up to the hub, though the Phillips Hue app could be a bit more user friend with its intuitiveness. Definitely happy with my purchase.

I have a few Philips Hue bulbs already and I wanted this light for my Shadowbox at my house. The Hue app makes it easy to control the color of the led light bulb from my phone or from my smart-home system. The only issue with the Philips Hue bulbs are that the greens are not that great. All of the other colors are fantastic, it is just something with the Hue bulbs and Green. All in all a fantastic light with great control, reliability, and great color options.

I really like the Hue line. The app itself could use some work but being able to set my lights as an alarm clock or use them as my porch light and change the color for the holidays/season is nice.

This is a great lighting system. It exceeded all my expectations. Plenty of colors in the spectrum from which to choose. Looking forward to 100 watt equivalent, whenever they make them.

You will love the product and the endless color schemes you can create and share. There is color for every mood and for moods you didn't know you have. Honestly buy it you will love it

Whole house lit with Hue bulbs of white and color. I control all of them with Alexa. Perfect! No running around turning lights of and on. Group setup controls a single light or series of lights you design, as well as complete color palettes from pre-loaded photo Scenes or from pictures you provide. Made my wife a big fan of these bulbs.

There are so many options and different colors!!! The apps work great and have had a ton of fun changing the colors and coming up with different schemes!! Want to get more!!!

This Hue bulb is awesome to make your room looking colorful especially if you add the other Hue family LED lights. The only thing about this bulb is that it does not give off much of a light blue color or a green color, however, it does give off a light green color and a blue color.

Ok, the bulbs and system are very expensive and a complete luxury, but if you like to strike a mood or enjoy high end tech, then this is a cool system for you.

this is the best smart light system on the market if you want to add some color in your office or home this is the way to go hands down an excellent product.

I have been keeping an eye out on this product for over a year and always talked myself out of buying a smart "light bulb", but after having them for a couple weeks now I wish i would have bought them sooner. Pros - The ability to control from siri, phone app, and many other integration. - IFTTT and Stringify support to automate your lights - You can easily set the mood in a room, it can be calming - Easy to setup - Ever expanding ecosystem, the wireless remote/switch is perfect. Cons - Expensive - Things fail if you turn off the device but after awhile no big deal.

The color ambiance bulbs are pricey, but they sure are fun to have. I have an array of Hue lights from accent lighting GU10, to regular ambiance white, a Bloom, and now a color ambiance. It's handy (hardly necessary) to be able to control lighting whenever and where ever you need to do so. The main perk for me is setting moods and automated timing of light schedules.

So there is a 3rd generation. You can tell the difference. But unless u truly REALLY BADLY need Green. These work amazing!!! Great way to get a party going with the strobe app or just regular lights from anywhere with just a tap or your voice using Siri/ Alexa/ or google. They are also so bright I only need 2 of these and they replace the amount of 4 regular bulbs.

These bulbs do exactly what I expected. Gil out the living room nicely with beautiful colors that always seem to fit the mood I'm trying to set.
