I recently purchased several of these bulbs for use in my home. I was injured in an accident and needed a convenient way to turn my lights on and off during the night without having to risk moving around in the dark and tripping over something. These bulbs work perfectly because I can control them from my Android/Ipad from wherever I am sitting or sleeping. Since you can adjust them to about any color and brightness imaginable, they are an awesome night light and mood enhancer when doing things like listening to healing music.

I love these and I recommend them to my friends. The only issue most people have is the cost. I just buy them over time. Used with Amazon echo, hands free light control. There is no better place to buy these lights than Best Buy!

I bought these in addition to the White LED Starter Kit. I have since only purchase additional white bulbs. I really don't use these bulbs to produce anything but various shades of white-to-yellow for mood lighting in the evening. All the other colors are mostly a novelty for me.

This product really opened up the options that came with customizing our home system. We can control our lights through our phones and siri, but we also want the ability to just hit a switch to change to a certain lighting or mood. Button 1 sets up the home to Seahawks mode for our football games! We ended up purchasing two of these for the home. Quick note: The buttons need to be pushed with a small amount of force. It has to make a click sound to work.

These wi-fi light bulbs are not your every day traditional bulbs. A bit pricey, but the lights will last for years. Once the "bridge" is connected to your router, turn the lights "on" and the bridge locates them allowing you to designate which room they are located in. You must, of course, download the free Phillips app on your smart phone of tablet, ie iPhone or iPad.

Phillips hue are the best in my opinion at making the colour changing lights. There are only a few colours in the "rainbow spectrum" where the intensity of the colours are extremely vivid and rich. At times when the coloured LEDs have to blend, the colours tend to be a bit washed out (white washed). But that is the limit of what technology has for now. Great light and adjustable colour intensities and colour temperature is a definite win in my books.

I do lighting design for dance performances, theater and because of that I was looking for a reliable lighting setup to bring the entertainment to my living room. After reading some reviews I decided to give Phillips Hue a shot. I'm happy I did, the setup took me less then 10 minutes and the lights were up and running flawless with the iPhone app. You have to experience what is to watch a movie with the right lighting, it feels like a movie theater!!

I can't believe I waited so long to invest in buying these. They seemed gimmicky, a waste or maybe I just didn't need them. They are so much more than a bulb. They can alert you to calls, weather bulletins, turn themselves off, the options are limitless, the colors are gorgeous, the cost to use them negligible and easy to program. They have a long life. I tell everyone about them. I got them because I can sync them with Alexa - echo as well. I love them!

Great being able to coordinate timing with inside and outside lights as well as colors and intensity. Very pleased with product... Have purchased additional bulbs to go with original purchase.

Love my hues lights everyone that comes to our place is really impressed.. Will be adding more light to the system in the future! Can't say anything bad about the system. Works as designed.

My whole house is pretty much HUE. I have more scene designs then I know what to do with. Depending on my mood and even the music I am playing, my house evolves around me. Amazing.

This product definitely makes your home a main attraction and will be amazing to guests, I only wish it connected to my main port all the time. It lights my whole living room!

These light bulbs are great. Excellent for parties or setting the mood. They can go from cool whites to soft whites in addition to the colors and also dimmable which is nice.

The bulbs dim nicely and, with the exception of greens, reproduce colors well (greens just end up looking sickly). The Philips Hue app is, unfortunately, pretty tame when it comes to controlling the lights. It comes with some scenes and you can create your own (and individually control lights) but the interface never feels intuitive to me and it lacks obvious features plenty of other Hue apps have (color fades, "scenes," etc.) Philips could make a great app for their Hue line but, for some reason, submitted the paltry mess they did. That said, controlling the lights is pretty easy and they have always responded to their commands.

It's hard to write a long review for a light bulb - even a smart one - but this one works exactly like it should. It responds well to apps and Siri, has a wide color gamut, and gets pretty bright, all while saving on electricity with its low wattage. I wish these bulbs came in the smaller E17 format, but for now, I've replaced pretty much all of the bulbs in my apartment with Hues, and I'd never go back!

I started with the Philips Hue color starter kit, which includes 3 color bulbs and the bridge. I would recommend the starter kit and then expanding with more bulbs. These bulbs work great and provide a wide variety of colors. I have 8 bulbs in my house now, 5 color, and 3 white. Make sure you have a good router as you expand your smart home technology or you could see lag or connection issues.

I have Bolt, Wemo, and Hue bulbs in my home. Since I've been using the Hues, I will only use the Hue bulbs in the future.
