i have dreamed of setting up lighting like this for a long time, and the reality is even better than i could have imagined. absolutely love the phillips hue system.

I needed a fourth bulb after the starter kit for my living room. The greens are disappointing, but I was aware of that beforehand. The lights are otherwise great.

These have been so much better than I thought they would be. I have four in the basement and one in the living room. They work great and can change the mood of things. Watching TV or hanging the the basement is better with the many colors instead of just white lights, even dimmed. And in the living room, it's nice just to put a nice glow of color in the room. Not to bright , not to dark.

The Phillips-hue is the best lighting on the market. reliable and long lasting bulbs, with the best color ranges I have seen. Well worth the investment so far.

This bulb is very simple to install and add on to an existing account. The bulb has endless possibilities and works perfectly with other bulbs to create an array of moods and settings. There is an app which has pre made color variations which I highly recommend and you can also make and save your own creations. Best Buy always price matches local competitors and Amazon so you cannot go wrong makin the purchase from Best Buy the lights can even be turned on and off remotely from the app so if you forget to turn the lights off you can do it from anywhere and vice versa if you need to turn them on (sometimes I turn them on to check on my dogs or grab their attention if I see and hear them barking through my security camera) you can even set the lights to be like a disco and change various colors and brightness Akon to the best of songs. My husband uses them for painting art because they can be set to natural light . A favorite fun setting of mine is called cloudy day where they are set to natural light with intermittent getting a bit dimmer then back bright as though clouds are passing. There are endless possibilities and the fun never ends. A bit expensive to get started but worth the money and life is so much easier havin Alexa turn on and off the lights or the app if I'm not in a convenient spot to get up and do it myself or if I am away from home

I feel funny buying lamps from Apple and Best Buy instead of the big boxes, but I do love these lamps and plan to get 12 more to complete the kitchen lighting.

Works right and is easy to program. Just wish it was a little cheaper though.

I absolutely love Phillips Hue. LED bulbs reduce energy cost while enhancing the setting in the room. Compatible with Apple HomeKit and Siri. Also compatible with Google's Alexa. A little bit of tech to make movie watching more enjoyable. I programmed my remote to automatically dim the lights and change color when I get ready to watch TV or a movie after sunset. I also programmed it to brighten when I turn the TV off. However, these are Gen 2 bulbs. The Gen 3 bulbs are soooo much better! Deeper green, magenta and blue! Buy these instead! You will not be disappointed.

It is bright and you can change the intensity using the Hue App from your iPhone. Replaces any existing standard bulb. Less expensive then their color lights.

I use this light in my media room. I have 4 of them on the side-walls. The range of colors that I get from the lights are good. I especially like watching Syfy shows that are supported on the Syfy sync app. They sync app changes the colors of the lights to match the ambient colors of the scene that is being showed on the TV. It makes watching somewhat more immersive.

Very easy to set up and ease of use. The color options are amazing.

I look forward to buying a few more....although I wish they can be brighter...maybe that can be addressed in a future software/firmware update?

have been changing all my lights in house over to these bulbs.They are great if you are turing your house into a smart house with light control

Great toy to play with if you can spare the $. Makes for a great party environment, especially when paired with Smartthings and Amazon Echo.

I absolutely loved these lights and soon after purchasing the starter kit, I was back buying enough bulbs to replace all in my apartment.

The bulbs have a life expectancy of twenty years, and while the novelty of changing the color wears off after a while, in the end the usefulness of remotely switching them off or by controlling by voice (with Amazon echo), is a time saver and we've enjoyed them quite a bit.

Easy to install and set the mood for a room using the color.

Too expensive and color range is not as good as would prefer. Still like the product better any any other color LED wifi lights available
