Overpriced but I love them. I’m deep in at this point no going back. You’re not paying for the bulb as much as you are the supporting software

Have over fifty different bulbs throughout the whole house and won’t stop until every light is a hue bulb. They’re expensive but so worth every penny. It makes any home feel so much different with being able to change the rooms feeling with different lighting.

Great product! I am loving my lights. They work well with Alexa and have a lot of functionality. I downloaded the Hue app and could do many variations of colors and even moods.

I have a variety of Philips Hue bulbs in most rooms in the house. These are the 800 Lumen bulbs, so they are not as bright as some of the other Hue bulbs I have, but they are also a little bit cheaper. (In color mode the brightness is about the same across the other "white and color" bulb options.)
I use these for rooms where I don't need more than 800 Lumens of brightness. They have very consistent color accuracy, and do not flicker or have other issues that I have found in some cheaper brands. When set to daylight color temperatures, they create very good color consistency for the room. (But if desired you can change the color temperature for your preferences, or use the color mode for a wide variety of ambient lighting scenes.)
The photos aren't great - when over 30-40% brightness there is a lot of lens flare. But I took a photo with the daylight color temperature that I usually use, a photo of that but dimmed, and then one with the "Under the Tree" scene (which slowly rotates through holiday themed colors).
The only complaint I have is at times the app has trouble automatically detecting new Hue bulbs when I add them. However when I do have problems, if I just type in the serial number from the side of the bulb it works just fine.

I have these lights throughout our home. When we take vacation it feels good to know we can use our regular routine or change it up when we are not home.
