    No surprises here. Just adding bulbs to an already existing system. I use the desktop program Winhue to program them. I do like that they started making brighter output bulbs, 1100 lumens vs 800 lumens.

    Definitely brighter than the old gen, could be a smidge brighter though. Obviously depends on the color. Not worth running out and upgrading all you bulbs, but if you're looking for new ones definitely worth picking up.

    I love being able to control all the lights in the house and make them different colors! I just wish they were slightly brighter sometimes, and they are expensive AF lol! Also, sometimes the pairing is finicky for me.

    I have purchaed 7 of these previously. I have also purchased less exspensive non Philips bulbs. None of the Knock offs work as good and most don't have the ZIGBEE feature. Which allows these Philip bulbs to connect to Alexa without the need of a addtional hub.
