I love that the bulbs are not using wireless resouces like other bulbs. Using these reduces traffic on my 2.4 GHz network. Very simple set up even though the instructions are thin. Just make sure you have an open port on your router for the hub. I picked up a longer Ethernet cable so it wasn't so close to my router. Using with Google Home and very fast response time turning off or on. Wish I had gotten these years ago. Best Buy price matched Amazon sale price so I decided to ditch the flipping off and on of other smart bulbs to reset or configure. One small glitch was it only discovered 2 bulbs. Just entered the serial number and moved on. It might be worth jotting down the numbers before trying to set them up in case it doesn't find one. Overall this starter kit is a great introduction to Hue. I can see adding more in the future.

I bought this kit at start my smart home collection. The process for setup is very simple. the Hue app is easy to use, to set up automations and other lighting schedules.

Wonderful starter kit and a way to learn and enjoy the Hue system

We purchased the Phillips Hue lights 75W Smart LED Starter kit for our new home for outdoor lighting and security. Motion sensors used to trigger the lights to go on when motion is detected around our home.

Very very impressed with these bulbs. I have used the Sengled bulb brand and these Philips lights blow them out of the water. If you don’t know sengled uses Bluetooth (as do these) but with all of the bulbs using the internet it can slow down internet speed. This problem is resolved with the Philips hub. I’m sure you could buy a hub for other brands of light bulb that would help with connect your entire smart home but this is the only one I’ve ever bought. So my review may be a bit biased. Overall I love the product, it is easy to setup, and I feel the price is fair for the quality.

Phillips hue is the top of the line when it comes to smart lighting. Would absolutely purchase again! Looking forward to adding lights to my home/setup.

Love these light bulbs so much that I went back and got more. It's really nice to walk into a dark room and just tell Alexa to turn my lights on. Also my husband tends to leave lights on as he goes through the house. With these I can just ask Alexa to turn them off for me so I don't have to go behind him and do it. Had a little glitch at first. I'm not very tech savvy. My Geek came out and fixed it right away.

I really like these lights, and the app is fairly straight forward. My only quip is that the App should be a little more intuitive as far as creating default settings for the rooms.

Love the ease of set up. The product is easy to use and adds so much convenience. We are looking forward to installing these throughout our new home in a few months.
