we got this to go with our hue bulbs in the living room. since you're not supposed to turn the actual light switch off, it makes for better physical control over the lights. particularly when we go to bed at night. no need to open the app to turn the lights off or down, just push the button. the only thing I would change is to be able to have more options in the customization. currently, you can only select from the preprogrammed scenes that hue offers. I would like to be able to set it to my specific color/warmth preference. that may changer as technology improves. we got this on sale for $25 (from$35) and are quite pleased with the bargain.

The bulb is very bright and the switch is easy to set up, control and it responds well.

This, just like other Hue products, is excellent. We bought this to replace a awkwardly placed switch in our master bedroom closet. We no longer have to walk into the closet and search for the light switch in the dark. It also came with adhesive which allowed for easy mounting to the wall. It can be placed anywhere. Setup took less than 1 minute. Could not be happier with this purchase.

I have an old house whose wiring doesn't have a neutral wire, so these are a necessity if I want to control my smart bulbs with a switch. I love how this works and use it in conjunction with both the Hue hub and Smart Things and it's magical when it all works. I'm a fan and I have two of these because I like them so much. They're idiot proof to set up and work every time.

The way my bedroom is setup, my lightswitch turns on the outlet closest to the door but that is not where my bed is. In order to get both lamps on sides of the bed up and running i needed to use extension cords, then i saw this item. It works perfectly for my 2 lamps, i just bought a 2nd bulb and now i can turn on both lamps with the one switch. PERFECT

I have purchased several of these previously as individual units. Now that I have the Hue Bridge I was anxious to see how well these kits would integrate with the whole system. To my surprise pairing the light and switch to the system was very easy! I'm now well I my way to automating all my lights!

I love this light bulb. I only bought one to see if I would like it. We recently moved and now I intend to buy more to use throughout my home.

We live in an old house that has ceiling light fixtures with pull cords because many rooms don't have wall switches due to the house's age. This kit gives us the ability to turn on the lights near the door instead of fumbling around in the dark for the pull cord. Programming the remote switch for turning on multiple bulbs simultaneously in a single fixture is easy.

I used this switch in my bathroom to control a Philips hue light in the room as the existing lights in the room were on the same switch as the vent fan which is very loud. Adding this let me have light without the vent fan making a racket in the middle of the night!

We have one of these in our bathroom, it's set up so the light is dim at night. Makes late night trips to the bathroom a little easier.

I purchased this kit because I have a room that does not have a lightswitch (old house) and it works in that role perfectly. I didn't want to open up walls/ceiling so I put this bulb in a table-lamp and mounted the switch nearby. It works with no effort or special adjustments---plug and play. I cannot comment on battery life (switch), but so far, so good.

I've been using Philips Hue bulbs for many years now. There I have 4 bulbs in my bedroom and 3 remotes. One near the door and 1 remote on each side of the bed. You can turn or change the scene from bed or when you walk in the room. This paired great with the Color Hue bulbs.

Bought this to add smart light functionality to the lamps in my bedroom. Great product. I'm planning to buy a couple more for the other bedrooms.

I already have some other Philips Hue bulbs and dimmer switches. This was to add to my living room lamps and provide the dimmer switch for control. I have my Hue bulbs connected with my Amazon Echo which makes it easy to tell Alexa to turn on or off the lights. I like having the option to control the lights with my phone, the dimmer switch, or Alexa.

This product is great and easy to install, the light can be dim as you whant or have the light all the way. Is something that would help save you energy.

This rounded out my system. Provided the second last bulb I needed and gave me a "more normal" switch for guests to use that don't want to ask Alexa to do it. Easy set up. The base is magnetic, so I used a metal face plates on the switch with the remote. The remote itself is held magnetically to the base, so it is movable and portable.

This bulb and remote works perfect in my office. I have no light fixture in my office, except a lamp on the wall that I have to walk through a dark room to turn on, this bulb and remote alleviates that problem now. I have the remote/switch mounted on the wall by my office door. It is a wonderful thing. I may get more for my bedroom.

The thing that I love about this is that you don't have to have your phone on the app open and in your hand when you're walking from room to room to turn on or off the lights. But you still have the flexibility of using your phone in the app anytime you want

Seems nothing else come close to matching the quality, reliability and functions to Phillips Hue lighting. Simply love!!
