Really simple set up. Love that the switch is magnetic. Lights could be a bit brighter but still overall satisfied.

It’s nice to know that you can control lights with your voice, and hue does a great job. I sometimes find that there’s a little delay but it has never lost connection or needed to be configured again.

This a great kit. The programmability is a powerful feature for automation. It is super simple to use.

I would like to see a dimmer switch that can sit within the box of the original switch for the bulbs you're replacing with Hue. I instead removed the old dimmer, joined the wires and added a blank outlet cover. The dimmer was then placed on the cover.

This review is to clarify this kit. Some people might think this is a more affordable version of the Starter Kit, which it is NOT. This is a Smart Bulb paired with a remote. If you're trying to start a Smart Home system, you must buy the Starter Kit. This is a good addition if you want to use a remote to control your lights instead of your phone or other device.

Sometimes these take a bit to be recognized in the hue app, but once they are, they are quite useful.

Purchasing this set is a great way to start automating your home lighting and other systems. Having the ability to later take the next step and getting the Hue Bridge to connect even more lights and customizing schedules and detecting presence in a home is very nice!

Best smart light ever. My switch is on the other side of the kitchen, bad placement. I replaced the light bulb, used included adhesive sticker to place switch on wall, and wuala! My family thinks Im a genius, but to be honest, I just bought the right stuff.

The switch is handy when you do not want to use a voice assistant or a smartphone,

it is great kit to manage bulbs perfectly for brightness good for house and desk uses

Bought to integrate with my existing HUE system, planning to use the bulb and dimmer/switch separately. No where on the site or packaging does it indicate whether this is possible - IT IS! I docked one star only because the dimmer/switch tends to be problematic to add to the HUE network. I have several now and it typically takes 2-3 attempts for the system to find and recognize it. Once it does, however, it works perfectly.

I rent an apartment with a bathroom light that had a chain. The chain broke twice. Replaced the bulbs with this system and it has totally updated the old light fixture. Will be a great upgrade to any pull chain light.

Since Philips updated these to work with Homekit I’ve bought 6 of them. I have one in every room. I have two buttons control the lights for the room it is in and the other two control all the lights in the house and my August lock.

I love the entire Hue line. This dinner makes your room lighting guest friendly. Have one in the bathroom where a color bulb is installed. Guests can now control bathroom lighting through the presets I set up. They love it. Awesome product!

I though having a light switch was going against the whole "smart" or "connected" home, google home turns the lights on and off just fine, but adding this to the mix just made things smoother.. Added another option to take care of things..

These are fantastic. You basically get two bulbs in one. If you want daylight bulbs, get these. They will give you up to 5000 kelvin and can be set to soft warm yellow for night time.

It was really easy to set up. Just screw the light bulb in the socket and it's ready to use

I replaced the light bulb in my shower with this to be a low level light that could be turned on from the bedroom for visits in the middle of the night. I don’t like a permanent night light so this was a perfect solution.

I bought this so my family did not have to use the Hue app or Alexa to turn on the lights. I set it up with my color Hue lights with the app. With the magnetic back, I leave it on the fridge where it is accessible to everyone.
