The dimmer is a must in a home where a less tech savvy person lives with a gadget lover. The ON button can be pressed more than once to cycle through custom settings then dimmed or brightened as desired. The kit basically gives you the bulb for pennies on the dollar compared to the bulb alone.

i no longer have to use my own wall switches. i can use this remote to control most of my main floor lights. it's easy and simple. it does have a magnet to attach to the back plate that it come with. and the installation is as easy as putting it on the wall with attached adhesive

I've had the Hue system since it first came out and have been very satisfied. The addition of the Lux white bulbs and the dimmer switch provide a low cost alternative to the standard Hue bulbs when color change is not needed. My only complaint with the bulbs is that they can't be added to scenes in the Hue software. My only complaint with the dimmer switch is that I had problems getting it to consistently control the light in my daughter's room on the opposite end of the house from the Hue bridge. It works fine controlling the light in my son's room, which is even further from the bridge. Overall, I love the product and definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to automate lights without the color change capabilities of the standard Hue bulbs.

My whole home is automated and having the extra remote to set to scenes is always a treat.

Must have accessory for your hue lights. You can assign multiple lights to the switch. Recommend 100%.

We bought this for our baby's room, so that when its time for a 3AM feeding, we dont have to turn on the overhead lights. We've set it up to use a very dim setting on the first push of the On button, but if we need more light, we can get full brightness with two taps. Overall it was pretty easy to set up and add to our existing hue hub, though we did have a period where the switch and app would become unresponsive. I ultimately ended up resetting the switch to correct the issue.

Live in old house that has some rooms with out light switches, this product works great!

I love the Hue product line. I have over 20 Philips Hue products in the house and this item compliments the system well. It's very convenient to have a wireless remote to control your lights, which you can always define in the Hue app which lights to control. I can be in bed and dim my lights and then turn them off/on without getting out. Fantastic. The inclusion of the Hue white bulb is also nice. Those are put in the living room.

Handy little device. Works great. I installed it in the bathroom for them lights only and it's nice and easy to dim it to a nightlight setting so can you turn it on in the middle of the night without a phone or using Alexa and have to worry about waking up your significant

Works great with or without the bridge. Super easy to setup and install. Light is very bright and works in any regular lamp. Love controlling it from my phone/google speakers (with the addition of the hub).

Great remote to have for little ones or just as an added convenience for your smart home lighting. It is easily configured through the Hue app. It works great for dimming lights when your phone is not handy or yelling commands to Alexa is not an option.

The HUE LED Dimming kit worked really great in a lamp. I had a lamp that was in a difficult area to turn on. This kit solved that problem by utilizing the new bulb and the dimmer remote, I can now control it from anywhere! Great addition to the Phillips HUE collection.
