I installed a BAS Ceiling Fan with light kit in my bathroom. (I cannot list the name because Best Buy thinks it is profanity). Unfortunately, wiring from the overhead fixture is tied to the vanity light. The ceiling fan is a smart, connected product that needs to stay energized all of the time. I solved this by installing 6) HUE bulbs in the vanity fixture & programmed them to this wireless wall switch. This allows touch control of the vanity light, while the smart fan / light kit sense motion & come on automatically. It looks like a wired switch, works just as reliably & is easy to program. Highest recommendation!

My first light dimmer switch by Hue was the easiest setup ever!

Running the hue lights off of only the app can be a bit of a drag and not as quick as flicking a switch, which we've all done since the invention of bulbs... this dimmer kit cures the app-lag (the time it takes to open the dang phone or tablet) with its dimmer switch, and the pack includes a non-color changing bulb (which is still quite useful, if not as fun as the color changing bulbs) dimmer switch can be magnetically mounted to where ever you install its base or simply left out like a tv remote. just be sure to manually label these if you end up picking up multiples.

I bought two of these kits, they come with one white temp selectable bulb, and I use them mixed with some color selectable bulbs in the hue system in my home. The switch is detachable from it's mounting plate (magnetic), which is nice, although I find mine usually being stuck to the wall because I use an amazon echo to voice control rooms by name. However, the switch is convenient to stick where you don't have a normal switch, and it allows you to cycle through 4 different modes each time you press the on button for whichever group/room you set it to control via the app. it dims in a decent range of brightness. I use them a few times a day for the last 2 months, so I can't speak on the battery life.

The response time of this controller vs using an app almost makes it worth it in itself. it does take a little longer to go from completely dim to full brightness and vice versa but, i think it's not enough to deter me from using it. the magnet mount works great. the brightness is noticeably brighter and a slightly different color than the original generation 1 hue bulb.

I bought it because it was cheaper to buy the dimmer with the bulb than if you purchase it separately. I think it pair differently with hue because it ask if is standalone dimmer or with a bulb. I think it pair with less bulbs than when you buy dimmer separately. It works fine without the need to reach for your phone. It also give you a flexible light switch.

Love this product! I like having the option to use the switch anywhere I want. If I'm relaxing sitting down I can turn on/off the light or even use the dimmer. You could also adjust the right lighting you want!

They are great light bulbs and the switch is perfect

The bulb and remote switch work fine. Light output is actually a little better than I anticipated. Installed the bulb in a kitchen pantry to eliminate the use of a pull cord for the ceiling light fixture. I did not want to drill holes to permanently mount the remote switch so I used "Command" / 3M brand removable mounting strips to mount the switch plate to the wall. That would be a great feature for Philips to add to their products.

This works well most of the time but there can be short delay when pressing a button. There have been a few times when I have tried to turn on the lights and nothing happened but after a second press it would work. I like the fact that there is adhesive and magnets on these so that can be placed anywhere without a huge installation.

This is a great wireless light kit. I have owned and operated it for about a month now and have never had any issues with it. The dimmer switch can be customized to control 2 separate light, and also customized to different lighting scenes by tapping the on button either 1, 2, or 3 times for different brightness levels. The light controlled by the dimmer switch can also be synced with the companion smartphone/tablet app and controlled that way as well. Phillips hue is the way to go...it's user friendly and easy to control the smartphone/tablet apps. I use them in every room and have also saved some energy usage by turning lights off with the convenience.

Setting up was pretty easy. Even though had to try a few times. After that everything works like it's supposed to. Very convenient.

The built in brain in the socket seems to be very smart. Just push the button and you adjust the light to any brightness. Great for elderly that want light while awake at night and great for a nightlight in case they have to get up in the middle of the night. It lights the way so they don't trip.

I have been very pleased with the dimming switch so far. They are very easy to setup and can be put almost anywhere. I would definitely recommend these if you have a hue bridge.

This allows you to turn of the lights without having to get up and go to a switch located on the lamp or the wall.

This item is a nice addition to the Philips line. The dimmer switch was very easy to pair with the Philips Hue Hub. The additional bulb was nice to get for a $5 discount. You can program the dimmer switch in a variety of different ways having different buttons and number of presses change to different scenes or settings. One thing to check is to make sure that the bulb included in this kit matches the same lumen count as your existing bulbs. Originally the kits are only 800 lumens, but I have heard they started making them with the newer versions of the bulbs with 840 lumens.

This light is awesome and the dimmer remote works perfect but if you want it to work with Alexa or Siri then you also need to get the bridge and it is separate.

Great way to add a simple Switch and light to any room, the switch is a remote also, love them work great!!!
