These lights are so easy to set up and fun to use, I only wish they were less expensive so I could replace all my lights with them!

The Philips Hue lighting system is incredible. It is the fastest and easiest way to completely change the atmosphere of a room. It's also extremely convenient to control the lights (brightness, color, on/off) just with your voice using Google Home, Siri or Alexa. I highly recommend Hue over any other lighting system. I've been using it for over 2 years, and I couldn't go back to regular lights anymore.

When you get bit by the home automation bug, you will want this set for sure! Bought them to see if I would even like the concept of voice command lights and colors; well $800+ later, I would say I liked them! From indoor use to the down lamps for outside for Christmas lights, they are the best for sure! The reviews out on YouTube and online are correct about turning off power to them as they will lose the program you set to them, but I am sure future firmware updates will address this eventually.

Lights work as described. Easy to install. Lights work with app, google and home kit seamlessly. I recommend this product.

I love these lights easy to set up can change to any color and you are able to set them to auto turn on when you got home.

These light bulbs are so fun. Huge range of color to choose from and easy to control with HomeKit or Google. The only downside is that sometimes if your internet restart it will take a bit for the Hue Bridge to reconnect. Overall easy installation and setup.

We have loved our hue lights. They work well with the amazon Alexa devices in our home. Easy setup and no issues so far!

I have been researching light bulbs for a bit and decided to jump into the hue ecosystem. Glad I did! I was able to get this on sale which sweetened the deal. Bright, vivid colors. Set up was a breeze. I hooked it up to my Google home and can now control my light with my voice. Only downside, you want to buy more :-)

I love these, multiple colors to choose from, its a great starter kit. They hook up easy and the app is easy to use.

I never thought I'd get into having automated lights but it's so handy! I have my lights come on at dusk. I can turn them off from work if I forget to turn them off. I can set up routines and timers so that if I'm traveling it still looks like someone is home. The colors seem gimmicky but we change them to different colors to suit our moods for movie night, relaxing, reading, etc. This is a product that is expensive on the front end but once you get it it's really handy. I got this during the promotion over Christmas when Best Buy was selling this starter set and the Google Home for (I think) $179. At that price it was like getting the Google Home for free and was a no brainer. That said, I have since invested in several more lights for other rooms because they are so much more useful than I ever thought they would be. Great product!

I bought this starter kit because it was a really good deal. I already have 7 bulbs in the house and wanted to add more. They are easy to install and work great with Alexa. We have some in our living room, kitchen, bedroom and soon there will be some in my daughter's room. The Hue app itself is easy to use though does not have a lot of functionality but apparently they are working on that. The colors are really rich and provide a lot of ways to customize scenes.

If not for a pretty decent cyber Monday deal, I most likely would not have purchased these bulbs. Pretty steep price tag for 4 light bulbs. Regardless, I could not be happier with this purchase. I have these paired with my Echo and they are incredibly convenient. The ability to adjust brightness and color with your voice is an awesome feature. Definitely would recommend if you are in the market for smart bulbs and already have any form of smart speaker.

Really convenient to command Siri to turn on/off the lights. I also have a few very useful Automations set to turn on lights when we arrive home and turn off the lights when we leave. We also have it set to turn on a light for the dogs when the sun sets and we're not at home. Dinner parties with colored lights totally changes the feel of dinner or movie nights with colored lights are so enjoyable. We've totally enjoyed having these lights in our home.

Nice introduction into smart home automation. got these lights with the google home bundle. Already had an echo dot but think that I like google home better. Family liked it so muchthat we purchased more lights. But just the white ambiance ones. All of the lights are connected to both the google home and echo dot (which we use upstairs). Family has fun with the various colors and I like the practicality of the brightness levels of these lights.

The Philips Hue lights are easy to install and use. The hue app still only offers some basic options and could use some improvement. However, there are plenty of third party apps that offer a more robust functionality.

Its an expensive item if you think of them just the bulbs however if you are planning towards making your home a smart home this will be a good addition. Integrates well with Google home and Alexa. You can create some good scenes by amazing color combinations that the app provides.

These are great, but since the bulbs are pricey, and nothing lasts forever, I use them sparingly as supplemental light just for when I want the color ambiance in bedroom, and I use the regular hue white blubs for everyday standard use in my other overhead fixures, table and floor lamps, etc. I ended up using a can type lamp fixture pointing up to ceiling with one color bulb in each corner of the room. Makes nice soft color lighting and the color palette is very customizable. I can control all four ganged together in app, but can also still adjust each bulb independently as desired. Very nice luxury. I actually got it on a lark (when they had a deal going on) with very low expectations and thought it was probably going to be a waste, and to be honest I really didn't think I would like or use them, but I was totally wrong. They are very cool. Might look at getting more for other rooms if the price comes down, but 4 bulbs do fine if room is not super huge.

The Phills HUE Color light system is amazing. It allows alot of variety with colors and the hub thats included allows alot of different options. There are some things I think could use some improvement, but as far as making it a smart home it really does the job. I love being able to turn off lights with alexa and dim or change colors as well. The lights look really cool in places like the bathroom or kitchen as well. The colors take some getting used to. But they're a lot of fun to play with. I've been experimenting all over the house. I would highly recommend these to someone looking to put a smart home in their house. it;'s a great starter kit. IMO the only thing that could use improvement is the price of the lights. 50 dollar a color light is a little ridiculous because in order to color a whole room you have to use at least 2-3. Other than that I am very happy with them and would recommend you get them. If you don't like them, take them back, nothing to lose!

I got this product during a doorbuster deal and it has not disappointed. Easy setup, but make sure you plan to put the hub and leave it near the router. It REQUIRES a ethernet connection directly to the router, which after the setup you can just forget it's there! (Unless you need to setup up more lights. Good selection of lighting and preset moods; I wonder if there is a a transition function where it smoothly changes lights.
