Flawlessly they work together. Use 1 Light outside on porch at night. Blue to support our men and women in blue. Red on Valentine's day. It will be Green on St. Pattys day. Remaining color bulbs provide an atmosphere (Magenta color) accompanied by some soft jazz music on the google home to get wifey ready for that special 2 minute thingy. Vava boom.

These lights are amazing, the colors are so rich and deep. Easy to use, these are a total game changer! All sorts of little things you can set up with it, entertainment areas, light strips behind the couch, you can sync your music with the lights. The day has you down haha no fear with the hue mood theme feature you can literally color in your day the way you see fit. The bulbs are suppose to last 8 years, no more hot bulbs or too bright of a light. They make a dimmer switch you can add to your hue lights that will dim them to the desired brightness. The hue bulbs are all LED they don't get hot not even a little. When you break it all down this is more than $300 for lights, it's an investment for your home, these allow you to truly color your home the way you want to.

I've wanted Hue bulbs for a long time, and recently bought the Hue White and Color Ambiance starter kit. I'm glad I did! Since then, I love them so much, I've purchased additional lights for the rest of the living room, kitchen, and family room. You'll likely want to get a Hue dimmer switch as well, but you don't need one as you can control everything for your phone or your voice as long as your Hue bridge is connected to your network and any of your smart voice assistants. I've used them with both a Google Home Mini and Apple HomePod and they work very well in either. I recently bought a second starter kit, just because it's the same price as buying 4 standalone bulbs, and you get another bridge, and right now, you also get the Hue Tap light switch ($50 value).

Great gadget for many holidays, not just Christmas. Intuitive setup (although all steps not fully explained in instructions) -- install app, setup bulb, then set up rooms to include selected bulbs. Integrates well with Alexa. Ordered online, picked up hassle-free at local Best Buy. Obviously it wil be less expensive if you can catch it on sale.

Purchased this 4 bulb kit for my home. I use 2 bulbs downstairs at an entrance point into my home and 2 bulbs upstairs in my bedroom. This light kit is so awesome and can be used with Google Mini or Echo Dot. No more walking into a dark home at night or fumbling to turn on lights when my hands are full! No more going into a dark bedroom! Simply tell Google or Alexa to turn on your lights or you can do it yourself using your phone. It is easy to set up and can be used on multiple phones with the App. It's great to be able to change light colors in the individual areas! So much fun! Will be purchasing more bulbs for other rooms soon. If you buy it you will definitely enjoy it! Light it up!

Changed my lights in my living room to these and it is the coolest thing! I just speak to my Google Home and it changed to the color I tell it to. It works really well. I haven't had any issues. I only have 4 right now but in my apartment of about 700 square feet it lights up the whole living, dining room and kitchen area.

These are expensive but got a great deal for Black Friday. Worth it to be able to control lights with your voice, set timers, as well as adjusting hues and color schemes - pretty fun. Works well with Alexa.

this kit was a much better price than buying individual bulbs and bridge. I was able to buy two kits and give one bridge and a couple bulbs as gift and keep the rest. Works with smart phone to control via siri or through the hue app. Can control entire rooms or individual bulbs and customize the room and bulb names

These lights are amazing you can change the colors according to a picture you have stored on your phone it picks three colors out of it .. I only negative about the lightbulbs are I wish the white was brighter but they saved me from having to add an extra outlet into my living room I would recommend this to anyone

I was very hesitant to purchase this item because of the price. But I was intriqued like many people are. Once I set it up and started using it, I was very happy that I made the purchase. It is really easy to setup and use. My wife, who isn't a techie, really likes it too. Go ahead and make the jump.

This is my second time purchasing Philips Hue main hub and color bulbs. I gifted my first one to a dear friend. What can I say, you won’t regret the never ending possibilities of creating various moods both in color or plain white. No matter what room, the space will never look or feel the same. I’ve accompanied the bulbs lit in green with sounds from nature and running water stream, plus the earth candle and all of a sudden your bedroom turns into a magical forest, as if you’re spending a night outside under the tree in a sleeping bag. Haven’t experienced glitches, always runs smoothly. Simple settings. Lots of programmable options. Excellent with Siri.

Before purchasing I read multiple reviews and watched many videos in regards to Philips Hue lighting. I am very impressed with how simple the set-up and use of this system is! Took me maybe 15 mins to get everything set up and paired with my Alexa home system! would recommend this to anyone!

I got into the whole smart home scene rather quickly by purchasing a google home, nest, and these lights. I have got to say that these lights are my favorite. I use IFTTT to set up custom commands for my lights and the fact they are on automatically when I get home already is GOLD for me.

Bought this starter kit with a couple of dimmer switch kits, a bloom, and another color selectable bulb. Set the starter kit with the hub up first, then each "batch" of pre-paired kits one at a time (two dimmer switches each with their own white selectable bulb). iOS app gets the job done, it works with my amazon echo voice commands once you set up the skill-- although, changing your room setup or names is kind of annoying with the skills not updating automatically, but this latest version of the hub works with HomeKit as well, so I am pretty happy with my options as far as voice command, wall-adhered dimmer switches, and automation.

Well Holiday time , what better time for colored lighting options. They work really well. Using them with google home. Lot's of different apps can control these lights so should be no problem finding one you like. Many are free. Only drawback is price, but on sale here was nice find.

The starter kit is exactly what you need to completely change your lighting experience. Very easy to use, and an awesome addition to other smart home items. Change the lighting to go with your movies, or change it to tell you what the weather is like outside. This product is great!
