What can I say about this product? How well it performs or how perfect it works with alexa? In my house it's a necessity, it's great when u get up in the middle of the night and you could turn on any light in the house just by telling alexa to do it or using the hue app. I also love the fact you could change the mood on any room by changing the colors. The only down side is the price tag, they're on the expensive side. But other than that they are a great product... Highly recommended

I'm going to start with the positive and then work my way to my negative thoughts on this product. First, this is so much fun to play with. I love the fact that the lights can be controlled by my Google Assistant and the fact that the supporting app allows for some nice automation features. I also enjoy that you can find some cool apps at the Google Play store to make different color recipes and actions. I've had a lot of fun with these lights! Now, the issues I have with them are the obvious price - Wow! They are expensive! Plus, the bulbs themselves come with restrictions where you can use them such as no totally enclosed or recessed light fixtures due to heat output. Most of my light fixtures are just that! Also, I'm a little confused about the BR30 bulbs because on one hand I see that they are made to be used in some recessed lights but the box says not to use them in recessed lights - what?! That is confusing to me! Overall, this starter pack I bought is a heck of a lot of fun and has inspired me to buy more to place the lights where I can within the house.

We have these in our basement and they work very well with our google home and my son loves the colors they change!

I wanted to upgrade my home for home automation and this starter kit was a good way to start it off. It was easy to set it up and the app is simple and user friendly. I would definitely suggest this starter kit for people who want get into home automation upgrades.

This is an excellent starter kit to begin building my smart home. Has everything you need to control your lights using your voice. I already had Google Home so they all paired well together. Using the hub I was also able to control Television, and audio by voice.

Cool colors. Easy to use with the app. Still need to set up the google mini but hopefully that will be easy.

I absolutely love these lights! They are rather expensive, but the convenience makes it so worth it. I love being able to dim or turn off the lights completely right from my phone! And the colored lights make watching movies and playing games so much more fun

Super easy to install. Great starter pack....Now I want to do other rooms. I did go back to store and ask questions. Very helpful. I miscalculated in how many bulbs I need it but need to go back. And I am sure to add a few more will be easy as well ☺

The bad: Although as advertised as the equivalent of a 65w normal light bulb, they do not seem to be as bright. The good: This is a pretty awesome product. The hub must be directly connected to your router, but no big deal. Setup is pretty straight forward. The brightness is the only downside. For rooms where lots of light is needed, use one of their other bulbs. Great for rooms needing mood lighting, such as home theater, or bedrooms.

Starter kit is great introduction to smart lighting and home automation. Easy set up and install. Phillips app offers many configuration and options for your preference. Seemless integration with smart home assistants. Look for sales to offset cost.

I already have another hue bridge. Connecting these 4 bulbs to that was a breeze. Excellent colors and works seamlessly with siri/google assistant.

We love our colored LED lights. We have it connected to our Amazon Alexa (Show and Dot).. They can be changed to any color to fit the occasion. You can also operate them through different APPS to set up scenes such as lightening, Christmas, etc.

I purchased these lights after swearing to myself I would never deck out my rented apartment with smart home features. After finding out that i wouldn't need to drill any holes, replace any light switches and basically just plug and go - I went all out. I purchased this starter pack and switched out the current light bulbs with these. Once I screwed them in, the hub found them immediately and my whole home was decorated with beautiful color! I kept the old bulbs and will just replace when I move out so I can take these beauties with me!

I purchased several of these to put throughout the house in the guest rooms and bathrooms while using the colored gen 3 lights for the master bedroom, living and dining rooms. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get into the smart home scene

Saw these at a friend’s house and knew I had to have them. Easy to install and maneuver, only dislike is whenever you turn off your light with the switch it goes back to the regular light, wish it could go back to the colo I had it set up.

I wanted to start setting up a smart home and the easiest place to start seemed to be the lighting. I purchased this starter kit of Philips Hue lights and a couple of other pieces and couldn't be happier. Easy to set up, a quick download/update and we're off! Comes with a number pf "scenes" pre-programmed and a million different color options. The hardest part of these has been learning to use the app instead of the wall switch to control the lights. I really like these and will absolutely be getting more!!

Easy set up. Able to control across multiple platforms. Able to create routines within downloadable app. Continent and easy to use.

It worked easily. It is a lot of fun to use. Gave 4 stars because I feel it is overpriced.
