So we just bought our first Philips light system and now we want more because we use them everyday! We even set up morning and night routines with them and it helps so much with waking up and going to sleep!! Even saves us money !

I absolutely love these lights. Less watts than a regular bulb but just as bright very energy efficient. plus you can change up the colors and dim the lights how you like. Can’t wait to switch the whole house over to these bulbs.

Every year we put red and green lights in our outdoor fixtures for Christmas. We will never have to change our lights again because these lights allow you to change them to any color you would like using an app on your phone.

Our hue lights make it easy to change the mood in our home. Seamless integration with Alexa makes it incredibly convenient to turn lights on and off - which is so helpful if your hands are full when moving from room to room.

Mood lighting works great with Google Home. I also installed a light strip on the back of the flat screen. The living room is bathed with light creating a custom mood. Download lightning storm app for a cozy atmosphere. One missing star because the lights go back to full white brightness if you flip the light switch, instead of the last color and brightness they were set. That's a downer.

Paired this with an Alexa and we love it. I have totally forgotten how to use the light switch. However, all of the 3rd party apps kind of suck so don't bother. Stick with the Alexa App and the Hue App and you will be much happier. We also have 4 of the plain white bulbs that we love too! As the finances allow, we will be converting our whole house to smart devices. This is a great option for people in older houses that don't have the capacity for a bunch of fancy hardwired lighting, fans, etc.

I love the many colors that I can set the mood with. It so convenient to turn all my lamps off after I get in bed. Also I can turn the lights on and off when I'm out of town. Gives me another layer of safely.

Bought Phillips Hue starter kit and I am loving it. It is easy to set up and easy to use. Can set turn on and turn off times, and I can use voice command on my phone to change color lighting, turn it on, turn it off. Super convenient. I have not linked it to Alexa but I know it can be done. I can’t wait to do that. If you buy this, download the IFTTT app and link to your Phillips hue account. The app has tips, it is helpful and makes it easier to use the smart lights!

Received when promised, easy to understand and apply, enjoyable to use especial with echo and voice command. If interested in lights only I would recommend the cheaper set that don’t have color capability.

I admit I didn’t want these and thought they were a waste of money. I ended up playing with the mood lighting more than anyone else in my house. They are awesome and easy to connect to the home device.

I'll admit that I'm late to the game when it comes to smart home lighting and now I'm wondering why I kept putting it off! I grabbed these about a month ago on sale for $30 off, came home, briefly read the instructions, setup the hub, swapped out four light bulbs, and tied everything to Siri. The setup process was pretty smooth and not at all hard to setup. I've got the Hue app installed on both my iPhone and iPad along with using Home Kit with my AppleTV. I've not created a Hue account but if I need to access the lighting controls remotely then Home Kit takes care of that for me without having to create yet another account for yet another service. My use scenario is two Hue lights setup to a lamp in the living room and the other two lights set up in a couple of lamps in my bedroom. Using voice commands to turn on all the lights in my apartment is quite groovy and handy. Being able to change the light settings for various moods or effects is easy enough to accomplish with either Home Kit or the Hue app. I am planning to add a few more lights both white and colors over the rest of the summer and I'm debating a light strip. The setup process was a lot easier than I was expecting and the lights actually get pretty darn bright. There really isn't any downside to going with the lights.

very cool and can customize any way you like....control by whole house/apartment, control by room, or control by individual bulb. Can use with Siri, google home, alexa or other smart home control.

This was the first thing I bought after my google home. I love controlling the lights with my voice. And the color options are awesome. Very easy to set up as well. Just remember to go into the Google Assistant and link any new bulbs added. And that is also where you change the name to (Downstairs light or something you prefer.) The philips app makes it seem like it is done there, but it has no impact on using Google Home when only done through Philips App.

Hue lights are the best smart lights out at the moment, giving a plethora of lighting choices, bulbs of different sizes and color palettes, to lamps, and pendant lights to hang from your ceiling.

I spent a lot of time deciding if I wanted to invest this kind of money into a lighting system. I am very thankful I did. The possibilities are limitless. There are numerous apps that can be used to do a wide variety of different things. The only annoying thing is that every app that you want to sync with the bridge, you have to physically press the button on the bridge and the bridge must be connected to your router, which is in my basement ceiling.

These lights are great they have different themes and can show different percentages of lighting. The different colors are definitely awesome. You can easily control using Alexa or the Hue app.

You’ll need an app to sync all the bulbs up, but after that it’s easy to use. One of its best features is its ability to recreate the lighting from one of your pics in your camera roll. Genius.
