Great product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been wanting HUE lights since they were first introduced a couple of years ago. I have tried a few other brands that sell only individual bulbs and believe Phillip's brand to be the best smart lighting system available. This particular system is a great initial buy because it is not overly expensive and gives you what you need to get started, 4 blubs and a bridge. From there, you only need 1 bridge for every 55 or so bulbs (63 max). Note that these lights are similar to your standard blubs and only adjust in brightness, not temperature. I find them to be very bright at 100%, providing plenty of light. With that said, I do plan on purchasing a few color bulbs in the near future for a few areas around the house. Furthermore, the bulbs are easy to use and control with the HUE or Apple's HomeKit. I also decided to purchase the HUE switch and found that just as easy to set up.

Only occasionally works with Amazon Alexa

Phillips Hue is supposed to work with Alexa, but the integration between Alexa and Phillips Hue is spotty at best. I will save up to replace the Phillips Hue with Alexa compatible devices. It probably works well with other systems.
