I love having these lights in my home. They are very convenient to have working with my google mini. Instead of walking into a dark room google can turn the light on before you get there. I have one in my bathroom lamp so the light is on before I get there. We also have them in our bedroom lamps next to the bed. It makes it nice to turn the lamps on and off without getting out of bed.

This system is just plain awesome!! I'm loving it. I don't need crazy colorful lights...I just like regular white light...and this fits the bill. Now, you may ask, why am I'm loving it? What's the difference in just getting a simple wifi smart plug and plugging your lamp in it? Well I love the dimm factor. These bulbs can dim on command via the Echo Dot. I can say, Alexa, Dim livingroom light 30%...and boom...it's done. You can program the lights to come on or off any day of the week or every day, at what ever time you want. The two best features I like are the gradual brightness and the gradual darkness. So, during the winter months when I wake up before the sun rises...I used to have hit the snooze on my alarm clock once if not twice....and even I wasn't really awake even after the second snooze...just plain groggy. Well, snooze no more for me. Yes, since I've set this up, I have not hit the snooze button once. When the alarm goes off, I'm awake without issues ready to go. How you ask? Simple, I have it set up at the time my alarm clock goes off...but the Hue system would gradually brighten 10 minutes before my alarm actually goes off. This tells your body it's day time and time to wake up. At night, I have a particular time I go to sleep...so 30 minutes before it's time for bed, the Hue system will gradually dim to till its completely off. You can control this system by turning the light on or off even while you're away from your home.

If you don’t care too much about color and just want some great smart lights, then these are the way to go. So easy to use and they work just about all of the time!

I bought one starter set for my boyfriend a year ago. He loves them. Couldn’t pass up getting these on Black Thanksgiving. Made a perfect birthday gift for my mom.

Installed as easy as plugging into power and back of router. Set my timers and lights come on and turn off automatically. Great to come home at night to lights on.

it took some work to get working with google home mini. makes it easy to go from room to room at night ans when sitting in recliner to switch from reading to tv .

It’s facinating how technology has evolved! Always wanted to turn off the light with a clap or by voice. I can’t do the clap but I can do the voice. Pretty cool!

This Starter Kit is something I highly recommend to someone looking to make a change to have a “smart house” by this smart product, very easy to install! Was easy to connect to my phone through the app and connected to Alexa, responds right when you ask to turn lights on and off, dimmer is also cool so when we don’t want to have full brightness. highly recommended, fantastic product!

We purchased these because of the compatibility with apple homekit. Works better than the switches because the switches don’t don’t work with our wall plates.

Love this product. So easy to set up and I love that I can choose different "scenes" for my lighting. A big step up and start to our home lighting automation.

I purchased the starter kit in order to see how simple it would be before purchasing other "smart" bulbs. The set up was easy, the app walks you through everything and being able to link this to google home allows my wife and I to control everything with our voices.

Super simple setup and app, had it up and running very quickly and it does what it says it will do, now waiting on Google mini to be able to voice control.

easy to use esp. if you have a smart phone. just place them where you want and set up with app on smart phone.

The setup of this product was really simple. You question yourself as how will you know which light is which however the setup is basically doh-doh proof.

This is a good product. I am using Philips Hue app (might try a 3rd party app), and if internet or power outage all programs cease to work. I have tried several times to figure it out, but haven't yet. I might try smart switches rather than invest more in this.

Using these with Alexa has changed the dynamic of our home. We like it dim instead of bright and the voice activation is very nice. Highly recommended!
