Just bought more lights for other rooms that works with the same Hue bridge. The default setting is very bright. Works well with Amazon Alexa and Apple Home App. Highly recommended.

I bought this kit just to get the hub.

I was mostly after the hub so I could put in some strip lighting on our kitchen cabinets. That being said, this is a fine kit and it works as advertised. In the long run, if you’re able to hardwire dimmer switches, it would be more cost effective for what is essentially just a set of dim able bulbs. On the other hand if you are after custom lighting effects, this is a good starter kit.
