You can set up timers, home and away settings and they are compatible with Amazon’s Alexa. I can’t say enough about this kit. Definitely worth it!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this set for my grandparents since I’ve had Hue bulbs in my own house since they came out, and have never had an issue with them. They work fine with Siri/Alexa. I have most scheduled to turn on/off at different times of the day. Colors are all great. (except green - Hue strip is much better for green) Coordinating different “scenes” for movie time, bedtime, etc is a breeze. I have some LIFX items, and while they are MUCH brighter, the Hue app is far more intuitive IMO. Also, my LIFX Bar flickers, even though customer service is great and they’ve exchanged parts quickly without headache. So that’s probably just my bad luck, but I’ve had over a dozen Hue lights for years without a single problem.

I’m in the process of changing out all the lights in my house to hue. Very easy to install and works great with Alexa and Siri. Love the fact that I can control the light through HomeKit.
