Great Starter kit.

Big Fan
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have furnished my entire home with Hue lights and it has gotten fairly pricey, so it was a good change of pace to get a "reasonably priced" bulb. Only reason it gets a 4 star is because it is only variations of warm light. Wish they made another "cheap" bulb that only did daylight brightness, without stepping up to the Ambiance bulb for double the price. Overall a good starter set, and at the $70 price, a good gift for anyone.

Phillips Hue Starter Kit

If you have a Samsung SmartThings hub then I suggest you don't connect the two within the Alexa or Google Home app, since that will result in double lights showing up.

Able to remotely turn access point lights on while travelling or just going out for the night. Plus with smartphone app, special condition scenarios can be set up for timed or location, not home, automatic on and off.
