I first bought the color lights for myself and loved them so much I bought two sets of the white as Christmas gifts.

So, I have a girlfriend who is clinically allergic to turning off lights? This was one of the best purchases I’ve made. It stops the argument over the lights lol You can control them from your phone. Be aware, you must hardwire the hub to your router with the included Ethernet cable.

I was skeptical and hesitant about jumping in and try remote monitoring and control light bulbs. Bought the Philips controller and 4 bulbs. The install and setup just a no brainer easy and the program control intuitive. Fun, easy, and serves a security purpose when we are traveling. Highly highly recommended.

LOVE these bulbs. Converting my home to a smart home was awesome, and these bulbs are the core of that experience.

These are great. I livr the fact that i can say turn all lights on and all lughts come on. Great product, but one.

So far Philips Hue has been great. I think having the bulbs on their own Zigbee network through the Hue bridge ends up working a bit better than having each bulb connect directly to the wifi router. I have over 20 bulbs now and the more you have the better they work. The bulbs create a mesh network, so you can essentially chain bulbs to cover long distances. For instance I had some lamps in one room connected with Wemo switches and they were often unresponsive as that room is farthest from my router. The Hue bulbs have no problem with this however. Hue bulbs in the ceiling of my hallway are likely the cause. I even have hue bulbs on the outside of my garage door now. Even without as direct a chain, they function without issue. On top of all this, in conjunction with Apple Homekit, the responsiveness of this system is superb. As I wrap up outfitting my own home with Hue bulbs, I've begun distributing starters kits to friends and family. Hue has emerged as a leader, and theyre continually updating/expanding while maintaining their existing lineup's compatibility.

If you like to control your lights from your smart phone than this is a great purchase. Slowly making a smart home

The bulbs were easy to set up however they are not as bright as my color bulbs. These bulbs work as advertised. I'd still recommend these to anyone interested in home automation. They react to Siri and Alexa.

Been wanting to upgrade home to be more of a smart home this was a wonderful way of starting and very expandable

Very easy to install and to control, I like to possibility to turn on/off the light even when I'm not at home.

It was hard at first to set up. I ended up taking them back because I thought it was defected. I bought another set of lights and set it up again. No problem since. Perfect for what I'm using them for. If you set them up right the first time you will have no problems. Perfect lights!!!

So far they worked but I have not tried from far away light color is soft white I wish they came in cool white

Yes you must have to work with the google home is cool to lay in bed and just say hay google turn off bed room light and it will turn out all the lights makes a lot of mistake better just getting a remote and the remote won’t tell on you if you say a forbidden word Big brother is just around the corner
