Phillips Hue is a great way to control the lighting in my house - when I'm home or away. Setup was super easy - plug in the hub, connect it to internet, and download the app. Now if I'm away, I can control the lights, or I can just set up the timer so the lights go on at the scheduled time every day.

Very addicting product! Once you start adding to your house you can’t stop. The choices and apps are endless

This is my recommendation for most people who want to try out "home automation-compatible" lights. As much as you think you'll use color, it's more likely than not that you don't live in a dorm, and will just use white. Use the lower cost of this set to dip your toe before adding on colored lights.

I purchased this so I can begin to make my home a smart home. I use it with my Amazon Echos & Google Home that I have throughout my house. They respond well & are as easy as screwing in a lightbulb. Lol

I bought this starter kit for an apartment I was furnishing. I am already a HUE user with a significant investment in their lighting tech in the main house. The new, HomeKit compatable bridge is beyond simple to install and get running. Lights turning on and off from both Alexa and Siri totally rocks.

I bought the Phillips Hue Starter kit. I ABSOLUTELY love this product. Easy set up and works great with AI.

I like Hue because even without the power it is stayed connected so you don't have to redo everything again

I would have given this a five star if it wasn’t for the yellowish hue that it has. I was expecting it to be white not yellowish. Set up was easy with the instructions and was a better deal accompanied by the free echo dot, but there should be some clarification on how yellow it is or at least have the ability to change the hues from yellow white to white white. I would recommend but just be aware that the “white” is not as white as it may seem.

Set up in new home. Love using the app to set up the lights. Can’t wait to expand my home lighting system.

The hub allows expansion with more types that I have with my smart things hub. The LED strip is the best.

I'm new into the smart home products, and I purchased this along with an Echo Dot. This was incredibly easy to set up and start using with the free app. It was also super easy to connect to my new Echo Dot. I plan to buy more Phillips Hue products in the future and have a completely smart home!

I love these bulbs. They last a long time and you can trust the Phillips name. The only bulb i will buy.

The lights work great, along with low energy usage, I like being able to turn them on when I’m not home.

Works well, I like that it has it’s own hub that is hard wired to internet. It works well wit Siri, and apple Home. My one caution is that if some one in the home turns off the lamp switch the bulb will not respond. I understood this before buying. I would buy again.

Works as expected. Still has some bugs to work out (random network disconnects) but software updates will hopefully address this. Integrated with Amazon Echo and smartthings with minimal hiccups.

The lights themselves are nice and bright, and the color is warm. The base station works well, too. The only negative comment I have is that the setup is trickier than it needs to be. If you are upgrading from an older base station to this one, you should leave the old one plugged in and turned on before starting the new one. Also, the setup process would only recognize one new light at a time. Trying to setup more than one light would crash the app.

These lights are amazing and can be used with Alexa. Through the controls or your voice, you can light up any room! Set up and connecting to Alexa was simple and took very little time. Great for creating a. smart home that is safe, cozy, and functional.

This kit is amazing!! I highly recommend it, it's a great way to start making your home a smart home.

Great Starter kit. get enough bulbs for two room if you use lamps. App works nice or with Amazon Echo
