If you're looking for a great way to get started using lights that you can control with your devices and/or home assistant devices, this is the best way to go. It comes with 4 bulbs and the hub to get you all started. Once you get the lights plugged in and synced to the hub, you can also add it to your home automation system, like Google Home, and control the operation of your lights with your voice. These aren't the colored lights, just one white color. But they're still GREAT because you can dim them to set the mood for a romantic dinner ("Hey Google, turn the lights down to 25%.") or wake them up if you drop your fork and can't see where the dang thing fell under the table ("Hey Google, turn the lights up to 100%."). Granted, you've got to have the Google Home or Google Home Mini to make that work.

Bought this product on sale. The price I paid was like getting the hub free.

Very easy to setup. Very easy to use with app. Extremely easy app to work bulbs. Works really well with the Amazon devices. Spread the bulbs out in three different rooms and use the routine setting to turn them on and off during the night.

I bought this for my mom after she had a knee replacement surgery and paired it with Amazon echo dot. So she could turn the lights on & off from her bed when she needed to get up. Philips Hue is so easy to set up & my parents absolutely love it!!!

Setup was simple, and we have had no issues linking the bulbs to our Google Home devices and attributing them to their respective rooms in our home. The bulbs have worked as promised, and we intend to switch out the rest of our home’s bulbs soon.

It is important to read instructions. Required Android Operating System 7 at minimum. easy to setup for single user but if multiple users create an account at Philips. Power failure results in all light turned on when power returns. You must leave all switched on to provide power to the lamp. Easy to control with the app. Setup with Google voice not as easy but I eventually got it to work.

This Philips starter kit is really good to start establishing a smart home.

This product has so many great features and works well with my Google Home.

I love adding smart lights that I can schedule and change in all kinds of ways. My favorite features are routines that fade the lights out at night and in in the morning in my kids rooms. Really makes those transition times much easier

it's nice to have outdoor lighting on a timer without the need for actual timer. They are convenient and work as expected. I only purchased because they were bundled with something else I was buying, I doubt I would buy them again.

Bought this to get my feet wet in smart home automation the lights are ok reaspond with app and Siri but Alexa gets them confused when you name them so kind of remember where you put 1-4 if you use Alexa the dimming and auto on off feature is cool I slowly wake my son up this way over all would I buy again yes and I have went ambient just to set the mood when watching tv.

Got these as a gift for someone, because I have a whole set and love them.

We have loved use these, they are a little hard to set up at first, but once you set up one the rest are easy. Very little instructions, had to go to utube.

These work well with Alexa. You need to download Hue app also and then Alexa app can recognize them. It may take a while for each light bulb to be recognized and programmed, but once done they become a very nice convenience .

This was a good start to getting into the whole "smart home" thing. Set up for the system was straight forward and relatively easy. The only thing that took time was the update of each bulb after they were activated.

So convenient and a hit with guests! The apps are user friendly as well.
