After reading about smart lights I finally decided to buy the Philips Hue starter kit while it is was almost half off during Black Friday. It easily connected to my home network and I immediately updated the firmware. The app works good and setting routines and schedules is a breeze. I also have the Insignia smart speaker and the lights respond great. The only knock I have is that the bulbs are soft white instead of daylight but I knew that going in so I won't knock a star off for that.

Setup is very simple and the app is intuitive. Great product if you travel or just don’t want to come home to a dark house.

I love the light. Being able to set up a schedule. Using it with google assistant. No more getting out of bed to turn off lights.

I bought these lights so I am able to turn lights on before arriving home. They connect to Alexa which makes them better.

Great to have hue lighting setup to smart commands. Voice commands or smart phone access for several rooms in our house. Love it!

Love this product! Works for what we intended. Helpful for my aging mother to be able to ask Alexa to turn lights on and off!

Love the lights and all the control you have over them. I have these through out my house and have them set to a schedule.

it's really easy to use. only drawback is i had a hard time syncing the new light bulbs as i had to manually enter each light bulb's serial number, and the base had to be really close to the bulb when syncing

I don't know how to live without this lighting system anymore! Easy to set-up, easy to use. Makes life that much easier.

These things are great, work exactly as advertised. Extremely convenient. If I had one complaint they are a little pricey.

Easy to set up if you have an ethernet port that's available on your modem. Easy set up with app and your good to go.

This kit is what got me started with having smart devices in my home. It was easy to set up and works just fine.

I love these smart lights! The only downside is that they are able to be dimmed and brightened and my google home does not understand when I ask it to change the brightness of the lights. Overall, that’s a very minor issue.

These work fine. Was not able to use exactly where I had hoped due to enclosed light fixtures or with fixtures that had dimmer switches. After a few tries was able to get them to work with our Google Home/Assistant.
