I bought these primarily because I thought they would be cool to use with our new Echo Dot...and they did not disappoint. Works perfectly, easy to connect, just replace light bulb in any standard lamp. We love having the ability to dim the lights either with the app or the Dot.

Excellent smart bulbs on sale at Best Buy. The Phillips Hue work great with Alexa for voice control. Really like ability to dim the lights too. Easy install plug and play.

I like techy gadgets so I'd had my eye on the hue bulbs for a while but was hesitant due to cost. When it went on sale for Black Friday I decided to buy it and so started the addiction! I love these! I've since replaced all my lamp bulbs with hue bulbs (a combination of these and the white ambiance). I love the convenience factor of controlling them via my phone or alexa. I have them scheduled to come on around sunset so that my doggies aren't in the dark but I don't have to waste electricity leaving lights on all day. I have 8 bulbs total, but the cost is definitely made up by the fun factor these lights offer.

I bought the Philips - Hue White A19 LED Starter Kit to work with my Alexa. I'm not too tech savy and had no trouble with set up. I down loaded the Hue app, changed my bulbs, hooked it up to my wifi , labeled my lights and set routines. I love it! I can turn on and off and dim lights just by telling alexa or using my phone. My lights are all on timers too. These lights are only white. Make sure you down load the right Hue app.

I LOVE these and decided to give them as a gift. They were an instant hit! They can be controlled through an app on your smartphone.tablet or through the amazon/google assistant. Great for anyone from the tech savy to the tech challenged. A breeze to set up and control.

If your looking to use these lights as is with either the wall switch you can buy or use your phone to turn them on or off they work great. I used mine along side the echo dot. Little bit of a learning curve getting the two products to work together. Everything works fine now. Every once and a while Alexa will say a light isn’t responding by turning it off with voice commands but it still turns off. Still a solid product

We bought this starter kit for when we went away. We were able to turn lights on and off at our normal times. Now that we are back home, we turn the lights on before we arrive home in the evening. Easy to set up, easy to use. We will be buying more bulbs in the future.

Just awesome! I’ve been wanting to get this smart lights for a while. So on Black Friday they had a deal that I couldn’t pass. $59.99 for the hub and 4 light bulbs and since then I don’t regret it. Makes my life way way easier and convenient for when you’re not home.

The hub connected with the light bulbs and the app on my phone very quickly. It was super easy to set up a variety of different routines including random on off within a time period. You have to log in to be able make changes remotely, but that was easy too.

If you have the Echo Plus the Hue light bulbs are an excellent addition to your smart home. The two functions I enjoy are setting the lights on a timer/routine every night for the kids nightlight. I also love that you can control the power of the lightbulb!

Purchased these last week and set up was very simple. Also purchased Amazon Echo Dot for voice control and the two systems work pretty well together. The Philips Hue system works seamlessly alone. Sometimes the voice control with the Echo Dot does not reach all of the lights when interacting with 6 or more at the same time. However that issue seems to be from the echo dot and not the Phillips Hue system.

Hue lights have endless function possibility's. At home or away with the simple app. On off timers Wake up and sleep modes. You control bright and dim levels. When connected to the Amazon Dot or Echo voice commands are fantastic, A must for any smart home.

I got the google home and this is a must to go along with the product. easy to assembly and in the app, you can name each light bulbs. Every time when I get home I can just say ok google please turn on my living room light and it works! Lightning is great

Finally got a hue system during Black Friday and it have been the best thing ever. Setup is easy and the app is great. Controlling your home from anywhere is great especially if you travel a lot. The customization is a big wow factor. Great for parties

I can't say enough about the hue bulbs. This was my first pack of the regular white bulbs and they are perfect for the rooms and places I just need good light and the ability to tie it into the smart home. I have not tried the new bridge yet that came with this as I'm still using my original bridge from the first color kit I bought. This kit is the lowest tier of the bulbs but they are fantastic in my kitchen. They don't have the 5k that the color bulbs or the white ambiance ones have but for a basic smart light there is none better. The only issue I had was that in order to tie them to the system I had to use the serial numbers (not a big deal for me as I keep track of the lights by serial in a spreadsheet) but a good tidbit for those of you adding to or starting the smart lighting adventure. I'm slowly getting to a full on hue house an I can't wait.

I bought this starter set because I didn't want to pay over $150 to see if I even want to have "smart lights" in my home. Installation was easy except for programming which lights to the app (hint: set them up one at a time.....). Using these with an Alexa and once paired I haven't had any issues. Will be looking into the color-change bulbs possibly down the road....but not at $30+ apiece!!

These lights work great. Be aware that the hub must plug directly into your router, it is not wifi enabled. Works well with Google Home voice control.

I purchased these to have better control of the lighting at home and for security as well when traveling away from home. You can schedule the lights to turn on based on time, sunset/sunrise, geofencing. I like the fact that they are dimmable as well in this way you can set scenes like nightlight or movie time, wake up, and coming home to activate certain lights. The kit is very easy to set up and get up an running within 15-20 min. I have mine set up with Homekit and its great. Make sure to update your app and lights when available. It adds functionality.

I was first drawn to the simple idea of controlling lights in the house remotely, however, as the updates keep coming, I am even more into the integration with voice commands. Pairing it with Alexa/Google Home has made it a whole different game.
