Programs with the phone I have two upstairs and downstairs and use them on dusk to dawn setting on either side of the driveway. Only downside, if your power goes out they will come on full blast when the power returns if the switch is switched on for the ones programmed to come on at certain times.

Best light bulbs

The assistant and hue pair are a great way of making sure lights are turned off I love the fact that the bulbs are dimmable with out having an old fashioned dimmer switch wired into your home over all if you're getting them as a gift or for yourself you'll be able with them.
