I only use when I’m away from home. Too much work to turn lights on via app when you can flip a switch. Need Alexa in every room to benefit

I purchased the Philips Hue lamps starter kit. The installation was a little different than I expected. Everything that I install uses WiFi to connect. This installation requires you to connect hardwired to your WiFi modern. This is very disappointing. Once connected, I went on line and found different videos to show the how to hook it up. The instructions that come with the product are poor Once completed, it works great.

Coupled with Google Home, this is an amazingly convenient to manage lighting when moving through the house. Being able to change conditions and provide the appearance of people being home will be a valuable remote management tool as well. Plus...... it's really reasonable.

I bought these because we were going to be away from home very frequently and wanted the house to look like someone was in it. You can program on and off times and then give those hours randomness so the lights don’t turn on and off at the same time every day. You have to leave the light switches on and turn the lights off from the app. I bought some floor lamps to have most Hue lights separate from the house lights.

Philips Hue lighting are top rated for a reason. Easy to install and start having a smart home.

Works very well. An expensive way to provide what light bulbs have done for so many years.

this was great. bought this for my mother for christmas and she love using this with her echo dot.

I bought these as a cyber Monday deal so the price was excellent for what you get. They don’t always work as expected through the Home app but I think it has to do more with apple software rather than Phillips. We replaced all our lights with the philips hue and love them!

i wish the hub was wireless, but it still works great and has great coverage. i have the hub downstairs and the light on the 2nd floor. they work great. i like the functionality to connect with the google assistant and the fact that they are dimmable.

Purchased the Google Home for my mom as an xmas gift. Wanted her to use the device to turn on the lights upon entering her home, and the light bulbs are the only way this capability works. The bulbs are fine, pricey, but seem to last longer than the average light bulb.

I purchased this product as a gift to one of our valued residents that renewed her lease for the Fall 2018. Our resident LOVES the bulb & the smart bundle! I plan to purchase this personally. The resident states you can download a app & controls lights from phone.

I previously bought a Phillips light bulb thinking it worked with blue tooth. Didn’t know I needed a hub, this set is perfect for starting out with smart home. Love that it works with Alexa and can also be controlled on the xfinity home security app

My first experience with smart bulbs! These are great! I love being able to turn on lights as I go to various locations in my house. And setting them up to turn on low level and increase in intensity in the morning is great! Now to move to the colors!

Nothing comes closes to being able to tell Alexa “Lights on” or “Lights off” . I paired with Echo Dot and lightbridge and use iPhone to control the Phillips hue and it’s perfect. I got a discount during my purchase at Best Buy which just sweetened the deal.
