Im not sure how i made it this long in life without having this type of lighting set up. Great buy, find it on sale though.

I was looking for the other Philips Hue, that one it can change the color of white, but I'm very happy with my Hue and works amazing with Google Assistant.

Wish the light was stronger

I had a little trouble installing but when i was done it was awesome. I can control the light from my iphone and it has different settings i can play with. The BIGGEST problem i have with this is the shade of light that comes from the bulb. IT SUCKS! It is a dingy yellow and after years of using bright white LED lighting in my home it just was awful! I only have one light bulb of the four in the kit hooked up because i couldn't decide where to put the other 3 that wouldn't just make me kringe. That being said I also have an additional unopened box/kit in my closet. YES i purchased two kits not knowing what i was getting. I didn't return because the price so good I may use outside in an enclosed patio.....Next project.

Effective and fun

Some of the apps have some nice scenes like candlelight. The voice control on my android phone is spotty, but overall I recommend Hue.
