So I started my Hue adventure with a couple of white bulbs in select fixtures of my basement. This quickly escalated to a full-blown addiction and I have since purchased over 30 colored bulbs and replaced every fixture in my basement with a colored hue bulb. The colors from these bulbs are rich in dynamic. I also like some of the pre-programmed scenes. I purchased these to use along with an echo dot. While I rave about these bulbs I am not completely pleased with the overall integration of the Hue app and other lighting apps. For example in its current state I cannot change the color of the bulbs with the echo dot without a fair amount of app programming with non-native third-party apps. I use Yonomi to set up scenes and then find those with the echo to trigger the scene change. The problem with this at the time is that the app only has predetermined colors and is quite a bit of work when you have a basement full of these lights. However I can easily control the color of the lights with my iPhone. At some point I'm sure the iPhone/HomeKit integration will be streamlined into the echo or some similar functionality but at this time that type of control is a bit clunky. Another app I like to use is an app called Thorlight. This app can set up animation with the lights as well as other cool tricks like strobe lights. The kids love it but again you cannot trigger these effects through the echo. Overall I couldn't be happy with these bulbs and continue to replace other fixtures in my home with them.

I have about 8 hue lights now around my home... So easy to automate and turn on... change colors, etc... integrates easily with apple Homekit. Great for when I'm away for turning on in different rooms to give the appearance someone is home. A little expensive to start.. But in my opinion so worth it. I purchased my first starter kit when they were first introduced. All bulbs are still working perfectly. The new version of the bulbs have a much better green than the original... so they just keep improving.

Not the first I've purchased, but I love it just the same. Combined with smart home automation such as Samsung's SmartThings and Amazon's Echo, these lights make turning off lights in my home fun. "Computer, turn off living rooms," "Computer, turn off fireplace." It just works. Sure, there are occasional issues where Echo says Hue isn't responding, but on the whole the services work as expected. Oh, my experience with Apple's HomeKit... trash. It's terrible and inconsistent. If you want the best experience, use it with a dedicated smart home hub and Echo.

We LOVE our smart lighting. It was very easy to set up and we have used a variety of settings such as the routines for waking up to natural light, timers, etc. The color option is a great way to really change up the atmosphere of a room. Also, I love that we can come home to lights on without wasting electricity! It's also nice to be able to get everyone and everything situated at bedtime with the lights on, then hop in bed and tell Alexa "Bedtime" and have her shut off all the lights and turn a night light on in the kids room!

I bought these to cover my basement area so I wouldnt have to physically walk down stairs to turn everything off... works like a charm. The added bonus is that my kids use the app to change color which is an added bonus. Great product!

I bought these to go with my starter kit. I now have a total of 5 color ambiance lights. There are a lot of recipes in the Hue app and 3rd party apps to show the full potential of these. A great way to change the décor of a room.

Placed one in each of the kids lamps in their room. They love having the different colors. They also like that they automatically go on at a set time in the evening. And so much fun for them to ask Alexa to turn them on and off.

I saw these in the store and got a guided tour of the system. I started out with 3 bulbs to try them out. I never thought I would see the day when I would spend 49 dollars for a light bulb. Unlimited colors, hues, light intensity all completely controlled from my smart phone, I Pad and Pods. You can even control the system while you are away. Amazing. I am outfitting my entire home with this system . There are also white only bulbs that can be intensity controlled. I won't attempt to get technical. Research yourself and go from there..

Fanstastic add on to our Hue setup. The bulbs are very easy to connect perhaps about a minute to pair everything. Color reproduction is outstanding probably the best smart lighting system out right now. Highly recommend it!!!

I love Philips Hue. I have them all over my apartment and have gotten my girlfriend and roommates to follow suit. They love it too. Paired with our Google Home/Alexas, we can all turn on and off each others lights as needed.

I bought this to add color and flavor to my room and it’s bright enough to light up my room and makes watching movies an tv shows a lot more interesting; also being able to dim makes it save much more in the electric bill.

I have over 50 Philips Hue bulbs at this point (and a few accessories) and these are included in my "collection" Colors are nice, they work well with Siri/Alexa. Certain colors are difficult to obtain (i.e. deep blues) but for practical purposes they do the job and provide a great atmosphere. Be warned, however, that Philips recommends a max of 50 devices and things start acting quirky when you exceed it as I have. You may need to add a second bridge when you reach that point.

The Phillips Hue White and Color Ambiance A19 is a great start to the Phillips Hue collection. It fits most lighting fixtures, and can be customized with the Phillips Hue App. As an casual gamer, movie connoisseur, and weekly party host I absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants to create an atmosphere and mood for yourself. It's alarming how expensive Phillips hue products are compared to other smart lights but it is well worth it as far as quality and enjoyment.

This quickly added to my exsisting Hue set up. Easy to control by app and by voice command if using Amazon Echo. Alexa, change color of bulb to blue. Alexa, change bulb to 10%. Makes me feel like I am on Start Trek

Great Product Overall. So, many colors to chose from you will enjoy year long. I recommend getting the Starter Pack first for the price. Also, Google Home with this will enhance the experience. But, Great without it too.

I had seen a friend of mine put these light into his home and they really set the place off. I don't know if I'll ever use all the colors, but it is nice to have the option. They work as advertised and a snap to install.

These new bulbs are more vibrant and brings a fresh new look to the holidays. Download different apps to make these lights create different scenes or dance to the music. (use of apps require smartthings, google home etc)

Being able to turn on and off the lights remotely is the main feature that drew me to it. Being able to change the colors is just icing on the cake. It works well. And it works with Alexa, so what more can you ask for?

I’m working to convert my home to a smart home, and wanted I use these for lamps in our house. They generally have the best reviews online. I set them both up to work with Homekit and Alexa, and haven’t had any issues. Not sure how much I really need to have the colors, but it’s fun to demonstrate to friends, and my girls have a blast with them. I think the color feature is best used in a room with multiple other hue bulbs, with different but complementary colors.

These lights are definitely on the pricey side but absolutely consider them an investment. I’m up to 7 bulbs now and fully intend to complete my house. They’ve given our space an entirely new vibe and I’m so pleased!
