Ever since I bought my first two I have been adding more. I love being able to control every light bulb in the house with my iPad. I turn them off all at once when I go to sleep. I also set the ambiance using the white scale to my desired level of white and yellow for the mood I am in. I use the colors on the app for parties or just a change of atmosphere and I can select preset themes. They also surprised me that they could find my WiFi router at great distances even in a stucco house (steel caging disrupts signals).

I am so impressed with these lights. Work easily & seamlessly with my Echo dots - dims - changes colors - fits my moods!

Colors are bright and vibrant. Extremely easy to setup! A little expensive but they go on sale pretty frequently.

Okay - this is my first colored light bulb and it is, I must admit, a fun addition. Works just as easy as the white ones which I have a few of. I added to my Hue hub and named it is my Hue app, then set up the routine in SmartThings. I find this works best for me. I have always had trouble getting the lights to turn off (they went on as scheduled) but I would have to turn them off in the app. Now they work flawlessly! Love this one and will purchase more a little at a time because they are kind of spendy.

These are very easy to setup. I’ve added several of these over the years. The app is not great but once you set it up you don’t need to worry about it. You can use the hue disco app to sync your lamps with music.

I've reviewed this already but don't mind doing it again. Such a cool way to bring ambience to a room. Even if you don't want a bunch of different colors, there are many different shades of white to choose from.

We absolutely love this light! It is great on the eyes if one partner is awake while the other sleeps. Not to mention the colors are super cool, and you can literally ask for a zillion different color names!

I love philips hue lights, they are just amazing. i cant complain anything on this, has so many colors to make any room look pretty. i wish they were a little cheaper so that i can use them allover my house.

Amazing lights!!! Will transform your ordinary room into awesomeness. Love the ability to change colors to match my mood. Combine the bulbs with a Hue bridge and the app and your possibilities are endless.

Honestly, these are the coolest thing you can get to start creating your smart home. I was given 2 white lights that I use in my bedroom and the bridge as a gift and I added three of these to my main sitting area and where I mainly watch TV. They add a whole new dimension to hosting people and dimming the lights with you voice, or having them slowly creep on as you wake up instead of a noisy alarm. Are they necessary? Absolutely not, are they cool? Without a doubt the coolest light bulb out there.

I really enjoy this lights. I already have a few in my house and want rock continue to add them through out. Love being able to turn them on and off with the app and change the colors for the right mood.

Philips - hue is the first thing that pops up in your mind when you want to go with IoT or smart home. I love the ease of using the bulbs and how it works seamlessly with Siri. You will need to have the started kit for this. I use the Apple HomeKit more than the Philips app thou. I love the way I can set up scenes and tell Siri to turn off a particular light or all lights. Its a must have if you want to start investing in smart home devices. So many color combinations! Love it!

I absolutely love ours. I put one outside on front porch to change with holidays and so on and with the app you can set it up to automatically come on when someone comes home. Then I went a little crazy and put them all over. It made it nice being able to control the lights/dimmer/ and color when you're eating dinner or watching a movie. Or when you lay down in bed and can't remember if you turned the light off. Now all I have to do is grab my phone and check or turn it off right there.

Easy to add to existing hub. 3rd generation bulb is slightly brighter than 1st and 2nd gen bulb. Greens no longer have yellowish tint. Standard MSRP is pricey, but beginning to see more discounts/sales.

These bulbs are well built and are able to change to any color you want. I have some outside and some inside and haven’t had a problem with any of them. I own 15 of them and would recommend to everyone

OK, this is my positive about these light: They can change 1000+ different colors or dim them. You can also turn them On/Off. Negative: They are over priced. 99% of you ceiling fans have 4 to 6 lights at $50 dollars each. You are paying over $200 dollars just to make your leaving room into RED. Is it worth it. My 5 year old thinks so, I DONT Think So...but, Its cool when you have guest or watching a movie and you want to dim the light to Blue

Great LED light bulbs that work well, Colors are vibrant and more color than I will ever use. They are pretty bright, but I wish they were sometimes a tad brighter but more than enough for a bedroom.

Although a little bit pricey compared to others, however, the vibrant colors and several custom scene unmatchable by others on the market. I would suggest buying one first before additional purchase.

Excellent functionality and value. The Hue Smart LED bulbs are great as a part of a smart home setup. I have found them better than any of the other brands as to ease of setup and color accuracy (version 3 - the older versions did not have accurate greens). I use mine bulbs with an ALEXA setup, using the Echo Plus device which has a built-in hub and eliminates the need for the Hue hub. Very happy with my setup and the Hue bulbs have been flawless.

I like them. Have the bridge to control all of my lights. It gets expensive,way expensive if you switch out alot of them. I hear the newest have bluetooth. I use the lighting options all the time. For kids birthday parties, to dinner lighting, you can download apps that sync the lights with music. I use the color options for the kids nightlights. They are pricey but you get one bulb that can do the work of tons of others.
