As someone who has the previous gen hue bulbs, this was a great change. It’s now in line with Lifx color reproduction (just not the brightness)

I have 6 of these bulbs throughout my apartment and they add so much more to the rooms. Not to mention my 7 month old twins are fascinated by anything bright and because Bette LED I don’t worry if they are left on in areas which I am not occupying. When I’m ready I either ask alexa to turn them off or I do it through the app if my kids are sleeping.

The 3rd generation bulbs have improved greens and blues, and are noticeably better than older color bulbs. Prepare your pocketbook; these are a painful purchase at the current ~$50 price point.

Great color and easy to setup. Look forward to switching more to this.

These bulbs are amazing. We have four Pendant lights above our kitchen island. Not only can you select the color and brightness but you can turn them on individually. When I eat late at night I can turn on just one of the four lights to eat by. Opens up many posibilities. No need for independant switches and dimmers, think of each light you put them in as its own source.

Beautiful colors and works well with both Alexa and Google Home.

As stated in the title the hues wireless bridge is needed to link the light bulb to you home network. Very simple even a Jerry can set it up.

I love these lights. So cool you can turn your lights on/off from anywhere and schedule a time for them to come on. Great product Phillips.

I purchase this spot light for my corner of my living room . Im so satisfied with the results. I recommend this Hue lights to anyone.....

This being just a bulb in the Hue line of products, it does what it does. The overall price is on the high side but the convenience of being able to have max control of your house lighting is pretty nice. I am sure with the advantage of total control, the cost of the bulb will pay for its self over time. I'm looking forward to adding more and more as time goes on.

After purchasing the starter kit it became apparent to us this was the best thing since sliced bread:-). Now we are adding color to our house. What a difference! The only issue we have had, which is funny, is if the internet is down, we cannot use Alexa to turn the lights on or off. This means we need to go back to the old fashion way; using the switch on the lamps.

Had to get more of the led lights for the house, more is really better in this case cause it fills the house with all kinds of different lighting which adds to the overall styles you can accomplish. I had an issue first with the levels of lighting brightness but chose the energize style and was equal to the amount of light as a 100 watt bulb but more natural blue hue.

If you’re going to just buy a bulb. Make sure you have the bridge in order to use it. Otherwise it’ll just be a nice orange/yellow light.

The colors are so vibrant with these 3rd gen lights. I'm going to convert my whole house eventually but at $50 a pop, it will take a while. So far, I have 15 lights in my house, including two GU10 and two BR30. The colors on these are so much more vibrant and it's noticeable right away when I try to turn an entire room green or blue. The A19 colors are amazing.

Whether its for ambient lighting or any other effect for your house. These lights solve lots of lighting situations. Being they have all the logic circuits built in to the bulb to work with the bridge; there is nothing else to buy. No special switches, dimmers or monitor interface services required. So, liites may be pricey but, in the long run you save money & time.

Always love the hue products, reliable than other chapters stuff, but it's an investment. Suggest to buy only on sale with a good amount of discount like 30%off or similar deal.

Easy to set up and hook up with phone and the echo. Changes colors easy

Hue lights are awesome. I've been very please overall with my purchase. Every so often, they won't respond, but overall I am very pleased.
