Absolutely love my Hue bulbs and light strips. The homekit compatibility makes them even better too! The OnSwitch app for iOS has Live Sports sync ability where the lights all animate or change color based on an action that occurred in game like scoring a goal or a penalty. I'm pretty much a fan of these for life. The LED strips are amazing. My original set of Hue bulbs from the Starter Kit are still going since I bought them in 2013 and have gone through multiple houses! i will recommend these for ANYONE MOSTLY because they last for YEARS without needing replacement AND the ability to choose WHATEVER color you want is wonderful and I almost feel like it should be a standard option for ALL light bulbs. Even cheaper RGB LED bulbs.

Got this item after I got the starter pack multicolor with google home. It works beautifully.

They do what they are supposed to. The third party apps do a lot more then the hue app does.

These bulbs are the best! Once you start to buy them, you will never be able to get enough.

Allows you to not only control your lights, but to also use them in ways you might not ever have though of. For example, my light now gently start to turn on half an hour before my alarm goes off, then continue to grow brighter and brighter as I get ready!

Great light bulbs. You can select just about any color you can think of. My only complaint is that they're pricey and not too bright.

We got a start up set for Christmas and have been adding bulbs since then so completely transform the living room lighting. Now we have low lit nights and slowly adjust the morning brightness. Blue lights to help with watching tv. Our toddler enjoys seeing all the colors as well.

I’m overall pretty satisfied with Phillips Hue light. It has its quirks and every once in a while Siri or Alexa say it’s not there, but it usually fixes itself pretty quickly. The app is pretty easy to use and it adds the bulbs pretty seamlessly. I tend to just use Siri, the HomeKit App, and Alexa so it’s pretty hands free. One thing to think of when purchasing any Phillips hue item is your internet technology. I use Orobi’s mesh whole house wireless system, which doesn’t really seam to cause any problems other than the hub. If the hub is too close to your Orbi it acts a little weird, and I have noticed an issue where I am connected to one Orbi and my Philips Hub is connected to another and it doesn’t recognize that I am connected to it. This has been reported but I don’t know that it’s 100% fixed. I still rated this product a 5 because it works as described, and all the underlying issues are not this device but supporting devices.

The difference between the 3rd gen and previous gen bulbs is incredible. I'm so glad I bought this. I can't recommend the 3rd gen bulbs enough, especially if (like me) you started with older bulbs. Absolutely worth the upgrade. So much brighter, more vivid, and worth the extra money.

It is a beautiful light that makes it very clear movement to set whatever mood you desire.

I’ve had the hue lighting strip and hue starter package with a bridge and 3 smart bulbs and they’ve been a significant amenity for my condo. I was happy to see the individual smart light packet was able to seamlessly integrate into the existing lighting setup.

I purchased the lighting kit for my husband for father’s day and he loves them so much we ended up buying 15 more for our new construction home. We now have a complete smart home that started with the hue lights and the strip. Love everything about the lights

Our basement lighting will never be the same! Never thought we would use the varying colors but it turns out that they are useful when the mood changes and fun for specific parties - green for St. Pat's, red for Valentine's, multi-colors for New Years... lots of fun!

These bulbs came in handy for my daughter's Sweet 16 B-Day. Light show out of this world!

Got this for my teen-aged son’s birthday along with an Alexa Echodot. It allows him to customize his room and enjoy it more. He often changes the colors with the Alexa, which works flawlessly. He also uses it to wake himself up in the morning.

Yes it's a little bit expensive but you got to have it , it changes the room completely.

I use my Philips-Hue with my Amazon Echo and like the idea being able set the mood then adjust the brightness through my Echo. Also being able to operate the lights through an app away from home is a plus. Just be very careful with the LED Bulbs, they are very easy to damage.

I have many other Hue bulbs, and all have exceeded my expectations! They work well through the Hue app, as well as with Amazon Alexa! Creating scenes for holidays, or just to have a different color is a plus. I always wait to catch Hue products on sale!
