I went on a bot of a spending spree around Black Friday this year with all the Hue deals floating around. Best Buy had their fair share of them so I scooped up a 3 bulb starter pack to get the ball rolling. I can honestly say that I am pleasantly surprised with the Hue bulbs. The Hue app itself is pretty limited with the options but 3rd party apps appear to deliver on what these bulbs can do. Get your bulbs setup with the Hue app and home automation platform of choice (alexa or Goggle home) and dig into those 3rd party apps.

Doesn't get hot. Lasts a long time. Great color range. True colors. Fits nicely in a standard light socket. I have many and recommend it!

Easy to use, multi color makes yard look good in various settings. Easily controlled from Inside the house for those inclement days.

I use Hue lamps with Alexa integration for Lighting control. Great color variation from these lamps. Seem to be very reliable so far.

I bought 9 bulbs and two lightstrips to put around my new house, and i love them, they’re bright and very easy to install and use.

Colored hue bulbs -I have these bulbs in my office, bathroom, bedrooms, and living room. I simply love the fact that they’re voice operated and I can change them to suit my mood. Hue has an easy to use app. You can use either Alexa or Siri to voice or manually operate them. I have found Siri works better than Alexa. I’ve only used the colored bulbs. You can make the lights not just different colors but also different degrees of brightness too. My kids think I’m really cool and they’re in college. LOL

This bulb costs a lot of money but it makes your room unique. You can customize the color and brightness of every room using this. Yes, it's expensive but you can transform the color to your mood. The automatic dimming at a scheduled time is helpful for getting sleepy before bed. Bought the dimmer remote and this is a great accessory.

I really like the control and range of color I have with these bulbs, and I plan to buy more, a little pricey but worth it.

I purchased to work with my new Alexis echo to add to my device list. What made this purchase better than I expected was the ability to change colors and or choose any of the few presets depending on your mood. I would love it so much more if it was less expensive.

These bulbs are great. Expensive and make sure you check your light fixture to see what bulb fits. Works with Alexa easily

I've had my Hue lights for over a year and I don't know why I didn't buy them sooner. I have them paired to a Google Home Mini and it's super convenient to ask Google to turn on my lights when my hands are full. In the Hue app, you can create times and wake up and go to sleep routines. I'm a very forgetful person and I can't remember if I turned off the lights when I left the house and It's great to be able to check if I did through the app and turn them off if I didn't. You can also set up the lights to turn off and on randomly if you're going to be gone for awhile so it seems like you're home. I like that you're able to dim the lights and change the color to pretty much any color imaginable, there's also an app you can download to have your lights change colors and brightness with music. The only downside to the lights that I've found is if your Internet goes down, your lights are stuck in whatever setting you had them set in when you lost connection.

This was my first time purchase of the Color Ambiance A19 for Philips Hue lights and I can honestly say it won't be my last. It's truly amazing how many different color variations this light can do, I sat on my bedroom floor looking up at my light just changing to all these different colors for like 15 minutes. I think this would be a great bulb for kids bedrooms or even a nightlight because some of the colors are very dim but still shed enough light for visibility.

i like these hue bulbs, i have a couple in my closets that kind of give an atmosphere and then a couple around the house. i have it setup so they turn on a dim red when i get home. its triggered by homekit, but you can use google/alexa etc... picked up a cheap google home mini, havent figured it out yet, but works with some of the bulbs but doesn't find the newer ones i've added. i have to look into that more but its a google issue, not philips. anyhow these rock

I love being able to turn my lights on with my voice or phone. I also love being able to make it change colors.

user friendly, vibrant colors, great compatibility with accessories & other smart home devices. I use with the compatible dimmer remote switch for our lamp with multiple different presets. also integrated well with our Alexa & Harmony remote. Hue Android Widget is also very convenient.

So the lights are easy enough to set up. The colors are brilliant. The only downside I have to share is once in a while a bulb will stop responding to the app and/or google home commands. The only fix I’ve found when this happens is unlinking then relinking the bulb through the app. Happens for no apparent reason. Possibly update issue. Overall though, we have these in our living area, dining area, bedrooms and love them. I use voice command in all rooms. Would be nice if you could adjust color by voice but the dimness control is satisfactory.

I've tried other less expensive brands and I keep coming back to Hue. The colors are better, the bulbs dim on/off perfectly, and they always work with the app or voice control. Other brands tend to drop their connections more often.

My husband originally bought these lights for our living room to go with the Google home system as a surprise. My initial reaction wasn't good. I thought our house looked like a night club. After I saw the variety of colors I changed my mind and really enjoy them now. It's fun for holidays and to add flare to different rooms in the house. You can change the level of brightness and boost your mood, or make it relaxing.

i have a 1st generation of this bulbs an i have to say that the color are a lot better in this 3 generation . but still you are not gonna have the true colors. the app works like a charm and the installation is really easy.
