These light bulbs are really cool. We have them in all of the bedrooms and the kitchen. They work with the Amazon Echo so we can turn them off and on and change them, just by talking to Alexa. They are pricey, but have the cool factor and are fun - especially when you sync them to music.

The bulbs are awesome, I replaced 95% of the lighting in my house with these bulbs and they work excellent!!!. Easy to setup, I give five stars because the bulbs are great, however the Home kit and Hue app is another story, because sometimes its hit or miss with the light, however overall most of the time the light work with the app Pros: Easy to setup Works well with Siri Colors are bold and you can run the gammit with color combinations Cons: The Hue app and Home app needs update , Phillips needs to invest heavily in the app as other apps to control and change the bulbs are years ahead of the basic hue app. I use the app to setup the bulbs I have found several other apps that are way better to use with setting up color scenes etc. Other than the app, the bulbs have been awesome!! Super easy to setup and super easy to add new bulbs. The bulbs are expensive though over 2k to setup 95% of my house complete with Phillips Hue Switches

I have a series of these around my house and they are all controlled by Amazon Alexa or the Hue app. I can easily adjust the mood and intensity to my schedule and have that happen automatically if I want that. I even have two of them as part of my christmas decoration. They turn green and red at sunset and then go back to white automatically when the rest of the outdoor display goes off at midnight.

It does what it is supposed to do. Also, I can control from different devices. Because they can be dimmed, it helps save something on the power bill. I like the ambient colors to set up the perfect mood.

When I first got this I didn't think it would be bright enough especially with my glass cover that goes on the ceiling fan. But once I saw the amount of leds it had to be bright enough. I used a standard bulb in the ceiling fan while having a regular led bulb in my desk lamp. The desk led bulb compared to the recipe bulb from Phillips Hue. Almost similar to brightness this has way more options. You can change the color to anything you want using your device with the color graph they give you and just slowly swipe your device to the color you want. It also has compatible apps that this bulb has you can make your lights dance to the music or just set your bulb to your current mood setting. Concentrate, Relax, Energize and Read. Sorry for the long review but I wanted someone who is really looking to upgrade their home to a smart home then this is the option for you. I recommend it 100%.

I have over 45 3rd gen A19 bulbs in my house now, as well as strips and various accessories (motion detectors, tap switches). The Hue bulbs offer exceptional color (3rd gen) and the software is easy to work with. I prefer having a hub to store routines and scenes as opposed to bulbs that do not have hubs or motion sensors. Highly recommend! Always helpful when they go on sale!

Fun lights, beautiful colors easy to program. Lots of options to play with

We have enjoyed our Philips Hue lights. We have them out in our driveway and set them to different holiday themes. Plus they are scheduled when to turn on and off. We have them in our kitchen where we can set different lighting schemes from full brightness to subtle colors to provide good back lighting when watching movies. We absolutely love them and will be getting more.

Can't believe I bought so many hue lights. The strips are really fun. Honestly, if you relax and have fun with it (frustrated to start, subsides some each day, for a week, then you're the world's foremost expert) you will see it sparks memories; and the wonderful ambiance you can create with all the different colors, wow! Or, just say, "Alexa, turn all lights to relax."

These bulbs are just cool. I start with the ambient white bulbs and added color bulbs later. The color bulbs are great for expressing or influencing your mood. I love the ability to set “scenes” within he Hue app and have Siri change the light brightness and colors to fit what I’m doing. I’d love more bulbs throughout my house, but the pricepoint is still a little high.

The lights are great. I can set them to any color I want. You can set it up with your tv. You can set your own scenes from a picture. I would have gave it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the price.

Okay. This is coming from a total geek perspective. I’m a techie, I love automating things via cool gadgets. I finally had saved enough money to purchase a set of hue lights... I have 4 bulbs, 2 strips and 3 blooms. And wow! It’s changed my entire environment... it’s a bit pricey but if you’re into creating some mood for your home, Phillips Hue is the best.

Love the colors you can choose to have and also how you can dim it.

I purchased three of these for use as my exterior lights (enclosed fixtures). I had heard concerns of the prior generations not having the best range of colors, and when the new gen came out, I read positive reviews and took the plunge. They are pricey as single bulbs; however, I am using them as holiday decorations as well. For Christmas, I would change the colors from white, to Green to Red, depending on the day, and my mood. I also have them grouped in Apple Homekit for automation purposes. I have them triggered to come on at sunset, and turn off at 11pm, then turn on again at 5am and turn off at sunrise. I have piece of mind knowing that I get a little security from automation and a benefit is the ability to change the color of the lights. I am quite pleased and plan to purchase more to use elsewhere around the house.
