Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Hue White A19 Smart LED Bulb's ease of use, brightness, and compatibility with smart home systems like Alexa and Apple HomeKit. Many appreciate its affordability and the level of control it offers over lighting. While some users experienced connectivity issues or slight delays in response time, the positive feedback on ease of use and brightness outweighs these concerns. The quick and easy setup is also frequently praised.

The Phillips Hue system is probably the best implemented smart lighting for small and medium households. The lights are decently bright and being LED I have confidence in their lifespan. Installation is simple through the app and easy to control with the app or smart assistants. My two biggest problems is the the pricey initial investment due to the need of a bridge and proper Ethernet cabling, and how cold the lights actually are. I prefer warmer lights, specially for my work area making me invest in the much more experience colored lights. If there was a couple temperature variants, this product would be perfect.

I love the whole Phillips Hue family of products! I have connected my bulbs to my Google Home as well as downloaded the Hue App. The color bulbs are so fun and help set an entirely different mood than just white bulbs. I love that you can set the lights to wake you up, turn off automatically or set timers to make it seem like you're home, even when you're not! Highly recommend these bulbs!

If you want to remotely turn on individual lights from your cell phone while you are away or on vacation, Then this is the perfect chance to try it out, Without overspending on a product you might be unsure of. These are single color wifi bulbs along with a bridge. If you decide to add a few extra bulbs but really do not need the "Colors" then buying extra will cost $14.99 per bulb as opposed to $59 a bulb that has full color range. I love to have lights on for my pets if I am not at home during the weekends. This starter pack is highly recommended to try out new features to get more usage out of your nice smart phone without going over $100 to accomplish it. These bulbs work with any lamp shade, porch light, or lamp if you have regular bulbs already. Really cool and liberating to turn on lights in each room so that it's not pitch black upon arriving home. These are also dimmable through your smart phone or desktop cpu app

I've been eyeing up the hue light bulbs for a long time, and finally decided to invest in them. I'm sorry I took so long. Setup was easy, and being able to control the lighting from Siri is a plus. In my opinion they provide ample light, and I would recommend them.

Let's get the bad out really fast. Sometimes it takes an act of Congress to get the lights noticed by the Hue Hub and integrated with the system. having to resort to using the serial number to find them and even that doesn't always do the trick. That said I have through patience and perseverance always gotten them up and running. Once that part is done these are great bulbs. Dimmable, versatile and great soft lighting. Bright enough to read by but not harsh. While a bit pricey there are sales to be had and I highly recommend stocking up on them when the sales happen. Every light should be a smart light!

The bulb is an ideal way to start getting the most from your Amazon Echo or Google Home. The setup of the bulb is so easy and provides a great convenience to allow you to control it with your voice and ability to dim the bulb to a desired level.

Works well with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, though you do need a Philips Hue Bridge. You can use your voice to turn the lights on/off or dim them to different percentages like "15%". They can also be automated to slowly turn on in the morning at a certain time. The only downside is the bulbs aren't that bright. They would be best used in lamps with more than one bulb.

No problems except I have noticed that the lights will turn off by themselves sometimes. It’s kinda freaky! You tell Alexa to turn them back on though and they come right on. You have to have a Hue Bridge otherwise these things will not work like they were designed to. I like how they delicately turn on instead of blazing bright like a regular light. The best part is you can tell Alexa or whatever you use a PERCENT of the light and it will go to that. Every time you bring the lights back up, they will come on to the same setting as it had the last time they were on as long as you do NOT turn off the light switch!

Quick Summary WiFi connected lights that last longer than standard 60 watt bulbs, are cheaper to run, provide ample lighting, and are dimmable. Background I have a small number of color changing Philips Hue lights and I bought these lights to replace some standard 60 watt bulbs. I did not need or want to spend the extra money for the color changing Hue lights for these rooms but I did want to connect them to my existing Hue infrastructure. Features These are WiFi lights that are controlled through a smart phone app. They do not have the color spectrum that the other Hue lights have, but these are much cheaper. I use them to give me the lighting control that I have become accustomed to with other Hue products, but not necessarily needing ambient colors. For example, I use these in a bedroom or the kitchen where movies and media are not the focus and color effects are not really practical or necessary (let's be honest, they are never really necessary but it's way cool). These bulbs give me full control over all the lighting in each room from where ever I am in the house. They also allow for more control within a specific room. I have one room that has 6 light sockets on the ceiling and they used to be controlled with 3 different light switches (two bulbs per switch). With these lights, I can turn on each bulb separately or in any combination without having to rewire anything.

I first bought these for fun, thinking they'd be amusing when guests visited the house, but since then they've become pretty hard to live without. With triggers on IFTTT & Google Home, and setting automatic home/away settings, it's great to know I'm not leaving things on at night, or coming home & having the lights turn on when I walk in.

I needed a bulb to put in a downstairs lamp. I wanted to be able to light the path downstairs on my way from the garage through the downstairs to upstairs when I came in at night. I trigger the bulb with HomeKit when I come in at night to see through the downstairs. I then have it turn off couple of minutes after I arrive and get upstairs. It worked great. It was in a lamp with three bulb sockets. I have since put two more Hue bulbs in the lamp so that I can turn one or two or all bulbs on if I’m going to be downstairs for reading and etc. easily controlled with APPLE HomeKit. Can turn on as much as I need as well as dim them to a lower level. So easy to set up and Siri loves to control them as well!

Pairs easily with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. Great lighting. Also fully dimmable through voice control and hue app. In most places, white bulbs are just fine and a bit cheaper than the color bulbs.
