So far it does the job after setting some tweaks using ITTT app. The Android software to control lights can be frustrating at times.

I will wait it out and I am sure more custom bugs will come out of it.

I got this kit to help adjust my roommates and I to our new apartment, and we absolutely love being able to control the feeling of each room by switching the colors and intensity. Can't wait to keep buying more. Setup is easy and it is a crowd pleaser at parties!

For me its cool, its meets all the needs I wanted and more. I purchased these to adjust the lights from bright to dim for watching TV. After buying them I started to use them in lamps in my bed room to adjust from reading to watching tv to fall asleep. They have a an alarm feature (found in the app that controls them) to turn on when you wake up. When i have people of its fun to turn them to different colors and entertain guests. only thing that i don't like is i have never been able to get the geo part to work (have lights turn on when you get close to home or turn off when you leave home). If you have a phone that reads NFC tags you can program tags to do stuff for you also.

Once I connected the home to my home network it only took a few moments to download the app and complete the setup process. After the novelty of setting up various colors schemes and alternating effects wore off, it was time to compare them to my other LEDs and incandescent bulbs in the house. They throw off a nice amount of light (on par with a 40 watt incandescent) and when setup with the right color scheme they are very pleasing to the eye. They really shine, no pun intended, as easy additions to a home automation system. I can control them from various apps on my mobile phone, my Harmony remote control, schedules as well via proximity settings. Although a little pricey, they don't fail to perform. Time will tell how this system compares to others that will probably hit the market this year, but I'm extremely happy with my purchase thus far. Highly recommended.

I have had my hue lights for over a year now and they are amazing! They sync well with the nest thermostat. I love all of the apps that go with the hue lights. The dance app is great for parties. The lights change colors with the music. The fact that I can turn my lights off from anywhere in the world when I forget before I leave is outstanding. Thank you hue.

I bought these lamps to be decorative when I have guests over and these do the job perfectly. I can change the color to a specific theme, or just keep it regular color temps like warm light and dim it or turn it off without ever having to get up. This may seem like a lazy feature but it is nice when you have several lamps across your room and you want to dim it like a movie theatre for a nice relaxing movie.

I absolutely love these lights. I thought the color changing option would be more of a novelty, but there is so much I can do with them. I going to put them all over the house. just wish they were not so expensive.

I got this starter kit on a Saturday as a toy. I set it up and immediately returned to best buy to buy more bulbs!!! By the end of the week i was up to 18 i think and now have 23. Ive done every light i want to now and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Tons of great apps to use to control and do different things. Want a fireworks show? There's an app for that! How about syncing to music? There's an app for that ! What about ambient in sync light to watch any movie or show available? Yep, there's an app for that too! I find new stuff daily. Not to mention the practicality functions. Want all you lights to go on when you get into wifi range of home if its after dusk. Poof done! Or turn the lights on when you wake up your fitness tracker, poof done. This system totally rocks. Yeah its pricey, but ive already noticed energy savigs and im using more lights than i was before. No ive not come close to recouping my investment, but im having a blast!!

Pretty cool to have such vibrant and colorful lighting when watching movies or just hanging out. Being able to change the colors and turn lights on/off with your phone or watch (Apple Watch) is awesome too. Only drawback is the price $$$ but i highly recommend.

The Philips LED bulbs are absolutely awesome. It took about 10 minutes to swap out my existing bulbs for the LED bulbs and then about 10 minutes to set up the bridge. The app downloaded in seconds and the whole system worked flawlessly right out the box. I spent an hour just playing with all the fun color options and building my own custom light diplays. This is a great option for anyone getting into the home automation aspect of electronics. I can control my lights from anywhere and set it to timers. There are also some cool apps that will control the lights along with music for parties or holiday fun. The only downside so far has been the initial investment. $60 a bulb is a little expensive, but so far I have no buyers regret and enjoy the bulbs much more than expected.

I put these in my newly remodeled basement, and they are perfect for it. they are easy to control, but what's really great are some of the third party developer app that can be used!

This lighting system has excellent remote control options in the original app and supports an bunch of 3rd party apps that are available to for both Android and iOS. The amount of lumens (brightness) for my application, over a stairway, was a little on the dim side when turned all the way up. But I think I just need to switch to the BR39 bulbs to gain a few extra lumens. Overall, it's a great lighting system to have and expand.

I had avoided purchasing these for a while because of the price but when I finally decided to dish out the cash for it I have zero regrets. Ease of Setup - Plug and play, Plug in the base station, screw in the lights, download the app, Press button on the receiver and your done. Ease of Use - Open the app and click a scene, easy as that. Other apps available for these that make it even more fun and relaxing to use that can make them flash to the music or flicker like candles Colors - Hard to get deep blues and greens. The blue is more of a violet and the green is lime greenish. Not really a deal breaker since they need to be this way to produce the great range of whites and typical light bulb colors. Electricity- I thought having lights "on" all day ( even though the light it self isn't on the bulbs are still using power for the wifi receivers) would use a lot more power but after checking my electric bill for the weeks days before and after I installed them consumption has actually gone down due to the Low power of LED's. Though still a novelty product these are very fun and very convenient. the ability to turn all your lights on or off when away from home is a great feature which can provide added security to make you look like your home on those late nights at work. I have mine automatically turn on in the morning for a more natural awakening, and set up scenes to help me relax after a long day at work. Great product and I recommend for anyone who has some extra cash laying around that wants a great way to start automating their home.

This starter kit includes a standard light bulb that will work with nearly any standard socket. This is the main kit to buy if you are thinking of joining the Hue revolution

Very easy to use. Probably something I didnt exactly "need" for my apartment but definitely entertaining :)

Easy to set up, i love the colors, really bright too

These lights are used over a dining room table. It is great to be able to change the brightness and colors to set the mood or for different lighting needs. I also like being able to use the lights individually.

If you really enjoy tech stuff you should try it very easy to use and manipulate, if you are only curious you will regret spending 200 bucks on this bulbs because actually that's a lot of money for three bulbs in my opinion.

The app needs some work. Hard to get the accent light on the pre set themed colors.
