I love these things and all the cool app's you can download to make them work. The only reason I am not giving them a 5th star is the starter bulb while it has a vast array of colors you can set it to does not do a real good blue or green in the spectrum. Like the Iris bulb does (another purchase I made to go with it). They are very easy to set up and use and work flawlessly beyond that.

If you are a tech junkie then this is for you can replicate any color on a picture or just manipulate the color of any bulb the way you want it :) If you are only curious of getting this bulbs go for it you will not regret.

I purchased the starter set, hooked it up for my living room and my wife and I love the change from conventional lighting. I went back to Best Buy and bought four more bulbs. The Hue system is very easy to install and enjoy. I highly recommend Hue. It's easy on the eyes and provides very good lighting for reading and much more.

Philips Hue is an awesome addition to my home. The ability to control the on/off status of the lights in addition to the color is a major selling point. There are other apps you can use with the lights besides for Philips' app that provide improved functionality. You can also combine the lights with IFTTT, another app that can provide automation to your lighting. For instance, I set the lights to turn on at sunset when I was away and turn off sometime in the night to simulate someone being home. Also, they may seem expensive, but if you price other lights with the same capability and support, these are reasonable. I didn't even mention that these are LED lights, so you get the added energy saving quality as well. Highly recommended.

Great lights. Love the colors. App can be a bit buggy, but overall very pleased with these lights.

This is my first experience with mobile home automation. Very cool that there are something like 16 million different color combinations within one bulb. You can download a number of different apps that control the bulbs. It may seem a little indulgent to spend $200 on light bulbs, but it was Christmas time. They really create a cool atmosphere in the room, especially when you synch them with music.

The Philips hue light are simply amazing, you can set timers and alarms so you can wake up to sunrises or go to sleep under moon light. The app and control are so easy to use and you can even create your own settings and moods.

I got this light to help me wake up in the morning before work and it works, I have sensitive eyes and the regular lights bother me a lot but with his I set it up on low and know I can get up with no problem and my eyes feel fine. Also help me to study to and my tv looks great.

Very cool wireless LED lights that plug into regular fixtures but that you can set to any color, with various settings for the lights to come on and off, and for mood lighting, security, and stylish look.

This is the first time I use a remote app. I've played with the colors, brightness, time, etc. it not only works awesome, I sometimes play with the colors during evening in my living room to try to decide which colors I like...too many choices. I love it!

The color is just beautiful, soothing from these light. Easy to install, also work with my Wink HUB which is great. No complaints at all, except wishing the prize would be cheaper

All I want is more bulbs for my home. This system is great for mood setting and just a change of color. I do however wish there was a better app for hue but there are plenty of 3rd party apps

Great product if you set all the "Timers and Alarms" up through the HUE online program. I found it difficult to switch between the online app, the phone app, and the tablet app. I didn't like that if you added a 3rd party app, you had to push the HUB button to sync the app and lights together. The colors of the lights are great and extremely bright at max setting. I will be changing out all my light bulbs for these Philips bulbs, it just will take some time based on the EXTREMELY high price of this product. I recommend this product to everyone that has some extra cash to throw around and to all those high tech people.

This are great! I have 3 bulbs in 3 different rooms...so far. Easy to set up and program in the app. I have an office, movie and reading custom setting to name a few. It's great to have them automatically come on before I even walk into my house.

I love Philips Hue products. They're easy to set up and fun to use. I will say, it's addicting to add to your collection once you start, though!

So, this is a pretty cool buy. Well worth every penny and there are sooo many different apps out there for iOS and Android to control your lights with. I bought it and installed it last night and stayed up until nearly midnight just playing with my lights. :) there are so many different variations of lighting you can do and you can control each lightbulb independently. It's really neat. I can't wait to buy more lightbulbs soon so that my entire home is completely automated.

Definitely for those who wish to set a mood with room lighting. They are fun to play with but the price is a little steep. If you are a person who still uses the 3D feature on your TV, you likely will enjoy a toy like this. I like that it turns off my lights when I leave and turns them back on when I arrive home.

Great addition to the home. Work perfect. Easy set up and we'll worth the price. Wish the add-on bulbs were a little cheaper but all-in-all this is a great little gadget

These lights are amazing! Easy to install and work like a charm. You can change the colors with an app and make them beat to music or just random patterns with another app.
